A Women´s Test Match outside the Women´s Ashes is a rarity. India Women have won the toss and will field first.

Unlike in men´s case, this will be a four-day match with 100 overs to be bowled on all four days.

In trouble! Four down, of which three were taken by Nagarajan Niranjan. But if it's a very green track then I expect India Women to be bundled out easily as well.

No, not at all.

Anyway, you are not his fan in Test cricket, are you?

We all know what would happen with Dhoni as the captain in Aus. Avg of 18 there. Unanimously accepted as a bad captain tactically. His keeping in seamer friendly pitches has been bad now (doesn't dive and expects the first slip to take everything - even stuff which he should have gone for).

ENgland cannot play on Green Tops. Men or Women, their best hope is to dish out a flat bed with slight help for phast bowlers and belt our hopeless bowlers and grind them to dust.

There is no way England will lose this test match to India. We'll bowl 'em out for 50 and then pile 500 on in our second dig.
 
I knew this collapse might happen because the one Yorkshire player got a fluke ball to get her out.

England women do not have enough Yorkshire players in the squad so the backbone of the side is full of southern softies instead of hard Yorkshire women.

The Ireland womens team actually can play test matches :)). Kinda odd.

This game will be over in 2 days at this rate.

Had Indian women been **** for less than 30 runs, would England have enforced follow on?

Wow, what a Test match it has been so far! 16 wickets, only 179 runs scored in 89.2 overs! I would prefer such a match over any match played on flat tracks. I have always had a thing for wicket-fests instead of run-fests in Test cricket.

Ah´, just saw that Sarah Taylor made 30 for England Women, which might prove to be one vital contribution in the end, with India Women still trailing by five runs.

Nagarajan Niranjana first took four wickets and then is batting on 16 not out off 51 balls. The seventh wicket partnership right now is 23. Jenny Gunn, always a girl with bit of a fighting attitude, has taken four out of the six wickets to fall.

I was just pulling your leg.

I think I can´t conclude much before the fifth Test match ends. Myself not being an India, it has to be underlined that I am less likely to be too bothered about the team/match results, which might explain my easy going attitude and reaction to this all, as much as I would still want Dhoni to do well and win though.

Do remind me to get back to you on this after the series ends. Just tag me in one of your wrist-slitting threads:P and I will oblige:).

Considering the amount of time left in the game, if India gets England out with a lead of 100-150 it will be in the driving seat.

Its a world record for most number of LBWs in a Test match. What seems to be happening is the batters are all planting a big foot forward a bit like Shane Watson and the ball is jagging back of the seam and thundering into the pads.
 
The way this thing is going, it looks like 100 runs will be impossible to chase for Indian women.

Egland women have a 83 run lead with 4 wickets remaining.
 
England Women lead by 88 runs with four wickets in hand. I expect a target of around 125 for India Women. It has been an immensely exciting game so far, irrespective of who goes on to win the Test match. Sarah Taylor once again the top-scorer, not out on 30 right now. I love such low-scoring thrillers in Test cricket.
 
England women lead by 131 with 3 wickets left. This is the highest innings of the match so far.
 
Indian women are showing a bit of fight at least. Will still lose though.
 
The lead is now 144 with 3 wickets still remaining.

This is day 3 of 4 so there WILL be a result.

Whatever happens I hope BCCI sees India can be a good team and gives the girls more cash and better facilities.
 
Lets focus on this game now. India are 13/0 after 7 overs and require 168 more runs to make Mark Cooper bankrupt!
