You'd be surprised how many music lovers in the west were/are huge fans of NFK, I worked with a middle-aged Norwegian guy once who had the biggest collection of NFK and qawali albums i had ever seen.

Great effort from this guy, i would definitely stop and give change.

Bro you are surprised about Norway you will find NFK fans everywhere in the world from east to west just read some comments on NFK youtube videos and you will find out his fans are from everywhere what a voice from heaven...To understand how special he was just imagine Peter Gabriel requesting NFK to work with him what a legend he was...

Check NFK imdb page at http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002163/ to see for how many western movies/dramas/documentaries he contributed or his music/composition are used including the famous Oscar winner movie Dead Man Walking...

Here is the famous soundtrack from Dead Man Walking (Face of Love)

He also contributed in Natural Born Killers and after his death they still use his music some recent example are in movies 2012, Blood Diamond, Outsourced etc

Yeah I think the the collab with Eddie Vedder really broadened his audience

The ultimate 'phorener' rendition of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, in my opinion was Jeff Buckley live in 1993. Just blows your mind.

Check it out

yes the late Buckley, think they both died in the same year, regarded him as his 'Elvis', really is mind blowing
