Really glad that she has managed to bring out the best in Usama, he was really struggling prior to PSL 9 and somehow, now, he is the top wicket taker!

Yeah Usama Mir has been so much better recently. Not sure how long of a contract Hartley signed but surely she will get an extension.

In the interview, she said she is ready to work longer and wants to set up spin camps. Let's hope she does!
I think with Ali Tahreen in charge, she will have the opportunity to go ahead.

She is having a good run with MS. Hope our spinners perform the same way after PSL.

Good to see how confident she is while working in Pakistan. The reason for her success is that she instills confidence in the youngsters encouraging them to give their 100%. This is what we seen in Usama Mir we knew he had the ability and all he needed was the right direction which Alex Hartley has provided him. Hopefully she will work with internatrional team too in the future.

Lol..soon as we lose something our misogynistic and racist boomers will destroy her..I hope she stays at the sultans and keeps away from tge toxic national setup

Usama Mir? Every country has at least 30 better spinners than him. He is as bad as Nawaz. Shadab still better than these 2 useless bowlers. Judging a player by PSL performance is the last thing we need.

They are trying to figure out the actions of Usman Tariq.

What a great interview. She sounds knowledgeable likeable and very sincere. Hopefully she will develop strong links with the coaching staff and be an assistant spin coach with the national team. I think Pak really needs to modernise their approach to coaching and bring in somebody young who can bring us in line with international standards. Sometimes it looks like the PCB is just stuck in the dark ages.

Judging a player by PSL performance is absolutely what we need. What else will you judge them on??? Choose players on merit who are performing. That's not. No need to overcomplicate things. Those performing well in these tournaments should definitely be picked for the national side. And those who failed to perform, well sucks for them try harder next time

Hopefully Alex and Cath will be retained by Sultans.

By all accounts, they did a good job and the players took on board their advice.

Absolutely — just heard her on her “No Balls” podcast with Kate Cross and she came across really well.
Genuinely committed to the team cause, real connection with the players and demonstrably improved some of the players.
Nothing more can be asked of a coach.

I wonder what the players will have to say about working with Alex and Cath at the PSL.
