To have fun is a good thing but what matters the most in the end is performance for your team. Although I think Abbas should have been selected for the Bangladesh series but he has had a below-par PSL. Maybe that is the only reason he missed out.

But he is a great prospect. Should not let go of him easily. He can do better job.

Abbas Afridi is a nice bowler but he needs to work more on improving his efficiency in death overs

Abbas Afridi performed well last night against Bangladesh...but consistency is the key to success. He needs to work more on delivering perfect yorkers.

Perfect yorkers are a myth. There are maybe a couple of bowlers in the world who manage to execute over 60% of their attempted yorkers.

What makes him successful is his clear understanding of his own game. He doesn’t try to do everything...he plays to his strengths. His ability to vary pace and length is his biggest weapon, and it works for him. Sure, there's always room for improvement, but he shouldn’t lose sight of what has brought him to the dance.
