Just a fun thread feel free to add your own

1) opposition are weak (new zealand played their Z team when only 1 or 2 regular players are missing from the squad)

2) t20 is a mickey mouse format nobody watches it and it don't mean anything

3) it's a Fluke!!!!

4) Pakistan got lucky if that happened and then happened and after that had it been like this but if this was like that Pakistan had no chance

5) opposition don't rate t20 so players underperformed really they were only here for a holiday but thought might as well play a friendly t20 game

1.It was just an off day.Team xyz will beat us 9 out 10 times on if we play on Mars.
2.India has been performing consistently and that's why is No 1 in Odi cricket while as we got our Ranking in T20 for free.
3.Nobody cares about bilateral T20 series.
4.Pakistan cannot win outside Oval.
5.The team Pakistan wins against is our Bogey Team.
6.Even when Faheem is doing well he is not as good as Hardik Stokes.
7.Players like ABd will never play in PSL as its Poor quality.
8.Afghanistan and Bangla will replace us soon as Asian Powerhouses of Cricket.
9. Inferiority complex of our players kicking in against India.


Even if we win the world cup some posters here will still come up with same excuses.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy for our t20 exploits... but we leave a lot to be desired in the other 2 formats where we're #6 and the other where we haven't beaten a quality side in a while since CT17.

If you want to celebrate rankings, which I completely understand and endorse, then you gotta accept when your team is struggling in the mid tables as well as is the case for us in tests and ODIs.

There's a difference between being a pessimist all the time and downplaying your country's victories at every occasion, as is being delusional and having a shield up vs all criticism.

In tests we just beat Aus and hopefully should beat NZ, in both ODI I and tests. Rankings would improve as s result. Currently we played t20s so have a right to celebrate good show in that format. Teams are criticised orpraised in other formats as per their performance.

1. Pak ranked 1 in Tests, Test rankings are not reflective of actual standing.
2. Pak win world championship in ODI , it's a fluke despite Pak beating everyone except first game and trashing in form England and India in high pressure stages.
3. Pak beat Sri Lanka West Indies, these teams are minnow level. Then West Indies beat India in one game and tie the other one and run them close in another that too in their own backyard.
4. Pak top T20 rankings and win record 11 series consecutively. T20 rankingsmean Jack all but ODI and Test rankings show India are consistent.
5. Pak select strong teams in T20, no other country does that but Aus NZ Sri Lanka England then pick their strong teams. And incidently so did India who nearly got embarrassed by West Indies yet again at their own backyard.

Pak do NOT even play in their own backyard. UAE is a neutral ground.

The team rankings matter depending to how Pakistan are rated. E.g.: If we are rated at bottom: we are minnows. If we are at top then rankings are flawed.

The records/accomplishments Pakistani cricketers achieve: they do not matter as soon as Pakistani wrecks 'em

The general burn is felt even in PP's hosting servers
