"You have to treat Bangladesh the same as you treat Pakistan and the same as you treat India": Nasser Hussain

Not in 1000 births can he give any taste of any medicine to the country he was actually born in .

He can eloquently protest

Just one or two births back his DNA was giving 'taste' to our country.

Sometimes before posting seriously do self reflection. It subdues the ego but helps the soul grow.

Why should Nasser’s opinion matter when he didn’t speak up for Zim in 2003? Shouldn’t Zim who has been a full member longer than BD deserve the same consideration Nasser is advocating? Why was he quiet?
What a stupid comparison.

No one kicked Zimbabwe out. England did not play vs Zimbabwe - they didn’t get kicked out either.

I don’t know what point you’re trying to make, but it’s a muddled mess

LOL wut? If ICC is not a business, what is it? Charity is it?

The fact is to grow and protect the game you need money. 20 teams playing this T20 world cup, only shows cricket has grown. Majority of this money comes from Indian cricket. So ICC cannot organize any tournament by dropping them. If it were so easy, they would have done long time ago.
This is cool - why don’t India leave the international calendar and play 12 months of IPL against each other. No team can compete in ability or financially.

I would be happy with that.

You are special kinda stupid.

ECB involved politics in cricket in 2003

Kicked Zim out by denying visa to Zim players

What exactly are you on about? What visa did Zimbabwe need to travel to their own country 🤪

Do you even know what happened. Stop chatting nonsense and at least google it or something. What an amateur

I respect people raising their voicea bout injustice.
I too say it openly Pakistan has been picked on a lot in Cricket and we need to be more fair.

But i have an axe to grind with Sky panelists and will not let these slimy anti hindus get away with it my dear.
The allegations of being anti-Hindu are deeply concerning. In order to better understand and address these claims, could you please provide any specific repeated examples that imply anti-Hinduism?

You were talking about 2003. Now take a step back, and a deep breath. Think about what you’re gonna post. Then post it and do a grammar check, it’s hurting my eyes. I don’t recognise bud bud.

There’s a good little boy

In 2003 Eng, with Nasser in the team refused to play Zim for political reasons

in 2009 WC, Eng denied visa for Zim, once again for political reasons, and they had to withdraw.

Any ICC tournament in India is most profitable for ICC. Last T20 WC in USA/WI was a massive loss revenue wise. And you want ICC to stop awarding ICC tournaments to India and make money because of Pakistan?

:klopp

The last T20 WC in USA/WI was the 2nd most profitable ICC event in history.

Impartial?
:yk

Gideon Haigh is what you call impartial, so is Ricky Ponting.

Nasser Hussain is a Muslim, there is no way he won’t support Pakistan.
He's never practised as a Muslim, but don't let facts get in the way of a cheap jibe.

People have problem with Jay Shah being head of ICC because he is son of Indian home minister.

However, PCBs head is home minister of Pakistan himself who also happens to be ACC chief. However, none of these hypocrites will say anything.

:kp
This is a fabrication and you know it. There's thousands of posts on here condemning political interference in cricket in Pakistan. Naqvi's dual role has been repeatedly criticised.

However finding Indian posters criticising the fact the ICC Chairman is the son of India's Home Minister, or that cricket has been weaponised for domestic politics by the BJP Govt, is like finding a goldfish that speaks Mandarin.

I'll go far as saying that in virtually every online space, the Indian propensity for uncritical nationalism, North Korean-esque regurgitation of scripted talking points, and abuse towards external critics is unrivalled by any other national group.

Don't worry, you guys won't go to hell for daring to question your country's actions every once in a while.

Someone reach out to Nasir Hussain and warn him never to travel to India again. He will now be targeted by the cult and BCCI!

2009, Zimbabwe assumed some of their players would be denied a visa to enter the UK by the UK Government. Visa’s were not actually denied, Zimbabwe didn’t even get to that stage. They pulled their team out before that. Zimbabwe did receive compensation and kept their ICC status.

Quite what any of that has to do with Nasser is beyond me.

14 out 16 countries voted against Bangladeshis request. That included CA and ECB. Changing schedule of BD at the last minute will.impact everyone that plays BD. Logistical challenges are massive.
Didn't stop India from demanding a neutral venue for its matches so close to CT25.

If the roles were reversed in the present situation, you know perfectly well these "logistical challenges" would be discarded like a piece of paper at the behest of the BCCI.

As for the 14-2 vote that Indians keep bragging about - I don't believe you guys are naive enough to think there wouldn't have been punitive measures by the BCCI against those daring to oppose it.

The underlying issue going beyond Mustafizur, hosting rights, visas, handshakes etc is that many Indian fans fundamentally wish BCCI to run world cricket as a one-party state just as many of them wish the BJP to run India as a one-party state. There's no room for dissenters. All the protests about unfairness and inequality during the days of Anglo-Australian dominance was just a facade for the real grievance - which was India weren't doing the bullying themselves.

It’s so ungrateful of India to treat a man who put the Mumbai cricket scene on the map with his excellent documentary like this. 😔
