I don't think there is any use of selecting him in the squad if he's not going to play. Malik seems to have cemented number 4 for now. So 6 is his best chance of playing although I do agree with you that he isn't really a number 6.

Yamin's batting is good but his bowling is terrible. No swing or seam at all.

Do not know much about his bowling even though he took 5-45 today, but his batting looked impressive and looked like someone who can hit the ball a long way. That helicopter shot was amazing.

It's risky, to play him as a frontline seamer, especially in such a high profile tournament. First, let him start as a 4th seamer, if conditions demand.

If by a miracle he does get game time I'll give him a series or 2 before I judge him.

It might be a left handers thing but his stance looks similar to Sharjeel's which means he will prefer to hit on the legside. Two of his 3 sixes were on the legside in this innings.

Need to see more to judge his bowling. But he seem to have that quick arm which makes it difficult for the batsmen to read what is planning to do.
