Faryal Makhdoom's spat with Amir Khan's family [in-laws respond #69, Amir Khan #102]

I agree she should not have used the culture card.

However, she did sign the prenup (which is cancelled now) and that's between couple.

Plus, dopatta demand and prenup demand are not related, and if they are then it proves the hypocrisy of the family as both demands were from family and she did actually sign the prenup.

And in a different statement, wife clarified that she spends her own earned money as she considers Aamir's money as a blood money.

How is Amir's money blood money? I don't understand this statement.

What an annoying brat this sister is. Deliberately trying to spread fire. An why the hell is Pakistan media so interested in this? Amir is British not Pakistani. I haven't seen anything or very little on BBC, Sky or other British news broadcasters but Pakistani media report delay updates on this whole matter. They should get a life.
Because they see this as an overseas Pakistani issue and not a Pakistani issue.

Any updates recently?

There was a massive Amir related news in the papers today. Open Dawn or Tribune.

I cannot post it here for obvious reasons. (You would know those reasons when you open the report)

That's old news, it came out a few years ago and the media covered it but it has surfaced again for some reason I guess probably to milk the current feud more. But Amir and Faryal sorted their issues after it was released and got on with it.

Lol so much drama.

To be fully honest Faryal actually seems like a really annoying girl. :))

Massive difference between her and her parents. If only she was similar to those who raised her in even the smallest way possible!

Faryal seems like an attention hungry person but that's between her and AAmir khan . If AK has no problems with her ways then the parents shouldn't be getting involved.

Please do not post anything related to the private video stuff. Thanks

The family is continuing to speak to the media.

Lol.

Amir and his wife spoke to ITV yesterday, the father spoke to the Sun last night and his brother spoke to the Mail today.

Can't link to it because of MIGs warning above but the whole family are crazy - wonder what is going through their minds.

http://tribune.com.pk/story/1312675/amir-khan-drops-father-uncle-management-team/

As Amir Khan’s bitter family feud shows no signs of ending, the boxer has decided to remove his father, uncle and best friend from his management team for the sake of his career and marriage.

“Family will always be my family. I just think it’s best they stay out of my boxing business. I will always respect and love them,” the boxer said on Twitter.

In an interview to a British daily, the boxer said he has dropped his father as part of his overhaul of his management team following the rift which has threatened to tear his family apart. “My dad is not going to be negotiating fights,” said the Bolton boxer.

“I love my family to bits, but my business is boxing and I’ll have a different team to do that. My dad, my mum, I respect them. I want a family relationship with them rather than a business relationship. They’ll be at my next fight, hopefully. I will invite them,” he added.

“When you mix the two it can get a bit difficult. That’s why I want to keep them separate.”

Amir has also removed his uncle Taz Khan as his consultant and Saj Mohammad, who was the best man at his wedding and his lifelong best friend, from his management team.

He brushed aside any speculation that he was past his prime and stated that despite being 30, now was the time he felt he could prove critics and cynics wrong. “I’m only 30 but I’ve been around so long that people probably think my best days are behind me. Not me. I feel I’m coming into my prime years, that this will be my time to really shine,” he said.

Boxer Amir's father terms his removal as manager disrespectful

http://dunyanews.tv/en/Sports/373628-Boxer-Amirs-father-terms-his-removal-as-manager-d

British boxer Amir Khan’s father Shah Khan has said that it is disrespectful for him to be removed as the manager of his own son.

Shah seemed particularly angry over his daughter-in-law Faryal Makhdoom and said he was sacked by Amir due to her.

Shah Khan announced to never talk to Faryal again, however, he said the doors of his house for son Amir and granddaughter Lamaisa will remain always open.

According to close friends of Amir’s parents, Faryal never leaves any opportunity to mock her in-laws, or to disrespect them. Faryal’s dispute with Amir’s family is going on for a while now, and both parties have discussed the domestic feud on media as well.

Faryal Makhdoom also warned Amir Khan recently to either keep her in his life, or his parents.

How petty. He seems to have missed that his son is supporting his wife. If he is going to ban Faryal then he should have enough principle to ban Amir as well once he's paid him back for the house.

It was Amirs dad who took him to the gym at a young age. He is what he is because of his parents.

I've changed my opinion on this and agree with his family. Amir is clearly under the thumb of his wife who has no talent, no class and no decency.

I hope he gets KNOCKED OUT again now.

My dad also took me to the gym at a young age but i didnt turn into world champ nor did the other kids with me.

Your comments are more absurd then his family.

He didn't just take him to a gym for a bicep workout, he supported his interest throughout Amirs career at each stage and drove him around the country for amateur fights and competitions. Each step of the way they made sure he had what he needed to progress and provided a balance for him between education, sport and family activities. Amir didn't become what he is due to god given talent, it was due to his hard work and a good support system.

Was it because you have a chin with more glass than Khan? You are brave like Khan with your personal comments behind the safety of your keyboard.

He sacked his whole team consisting of his father, uncle and best friend because of his wife who is nothing more than a wannabe celebertiy with no class.

Amir is in a tough position being forced to pick between his family and wife; in recent interviews he has said that family is family and he loves his parents to bits; am sure they feel the same way but it's just a unfortunate sequence of events. Amir has a kid as well and a family of his own to think about moving forward, hopefully all is resolved in the end.

KingKhanWC It's possible he got rid of the dad due to the wife but the others he let go because they basically cashed out after the Canelo fight :)) He is bringing back some old team members whom I don't think he should have fired in the first place like his strength/conditioning coach, Asif Vali and a few others; these individuals coincided with Khans best spell in his career when he'd become unified world champion and beat Maidana.

I agree its a difficult position but he has handled it very poorly. His wife continued and is still continuing to give interviews , escalting the matter further. She did what she did with her snapchat posts but should have left it there. His dad has been part of his team since day 1, sacking them because of a dispute with his wife is not only unfair but very poor businesss sense, they looked out for his welfare. As you know boxing is a dirty business, you need a loyal team behind you to look out for your welfare. At the moment he has bought back Asif Wali, who seems to be in negotations with a possible fight with Brook but is making the excuse due to previous contractural agreements, Khan should have a much larger percentage. It seem Goldenboy have some sort of hook on Khan, things like this will only get worse without people behind him who do not care about his welfare. The way he's going , he may only have a couple of fights before his career is over.

If he had kept Shah on then his wife would have left him and then folk would judge him for choosing his dad over his wife and kid, whatever decision he was to make he doesn't win. Shah's influence cannot be denied, both you and I know of how pivotal he has been to Khan's success but in recent times am not sure if he has been of much use in terms of a manager, even if it was a business decision it still makes sense to have him around but it does seem like a personal decision. Yeah, it's not GoldenBoy but Al-Haymon; Khan has been tied up to him for a while and he has done very little for his career. If the fight is made it will probably be at 60-40 as they are starting of with 70/30. It takes two to tango, Khan is the bigger name but we need both to sell out a Wembley for example; interest in the fight has deteriorated though and I doubt it can sell out Wembley now.

He has done a lot of good charity work but his image has been shattered. Young kids used to look up to him , they have heard of the video and now he is on bad terms with his parents, siblings and best friends. He really should have knew how quickly things can get out of hand and the unrepariable damage wich could occur. He's no longer a good role model which is the saddest part of this. I don't understand why elite sportsmen get married in the first place. The career is short, so why not give all your time to the sport and get married once you retire.

I don't think his wife would actually leave him, she loves the attention she recieves because of him. Yes Amir might be thinking of his daughter which is fair enough but he's just moved to one side instead trying to stay balanced. I agree Khan-Brook at this moment will not sell out Wembley so perhaps decent name exciting tune up fights may bring back some well needed publicity.

Hard work yes and knowing how much dosh Amir was going to rank in, it probably got his dad excited. Ofcourse then it wasnt about Islam because the money blinded him.

Someone from team Khan allegedly released that video, the story had been out since 2013 but there was no video; they opportunistically released it during this lowest period in his life before cashing out and leaving Amir when he had lost to Canelo. I think that it's not just Amirs wife who has been influential in his decision with regards to him getting rid of the team and his dad but other stuff that we don't know. Shah should definitely be with but I have no issue with him getting rid of people in his team who betrayed him. It is a shame no doubt, his image has been destroyed but I still see him as a good role model for all the good he has done beyond this personal fiasco. I can't blame him for getting married but I do agree with you that perhaps it wasn't wise being a sportsman.

lol Or maybe it was due to love for his son? you're telling me that he knew for sure that he was going to be a millionaire? maybe Shah should be hired as talent scout by Team GB. Naturally as one gets better you just support them every way, which parent would be like you know what you're all on your own now or am not going to support you because it makes me look bad as people like PetroDollars will think am only helping my son due to greed for money

Aamir's dad more than he deserved. Whatever amir achieved it's his own talent. His wins and loses are his own and no one else to take credit or blame.

Parents are not supposed to blackmail their childern and wish for child's divorce.
I would say parents fully deserved this sacking.

That's a bit of a bold statement
There's got to be a balance between blanking his parents and divorcing his wife

She's going on celebrity big brother. Seriously though, this girl does not fit a traditional family like the Khans.

God knows if Amir consulted them first because she's certainly trying to be the next Kardashian.

In such cases (and sadly I speak from seeing it among close ones), both parties are adamant they are 100% right and they never did a mistake...

Amir is being under his wife, but if you ask his parents, they would have wanted another extreme, where the wife is under their thumb...

The guy tries to be "neutral", but neither side will be happy because their definition of "neutral" is their side being favored all the time ...

Sometimes, the wife lashes out at every perceived slight by her inlaws, whereas her own parents have a very large berth, where every slight is forgiven

On the other hand, parents of desi guys can be manipulative and insensitive, i know cases where well reputed families try to incite their son to physical violence against the wife ...

and there are people who disregard their sons love for his child; just divorce and you will get other kids, is what they say ...

and there are parents who say "we brought you up, what did your wife do to deserve your support?"

Now I see why so many Brown moms and aunties are watch soap operas.

Amir Khan shares first photo of baby daughter

Just days after his knockout victory in his return to the ring, Amir Khan has another reason to celebrate.

The boxer announced the birth of his second daughter with wife Faryal Makhdoom.

The Olympian, 31, shared a photograph of himself and baby Alayna, who is dressed in a leopard print and red ruffle outfit, on Instagram.

Writing alongside the image, he said: "Welcome to the world. With my and @faryalmakhdoom new born, Weighing 8lbs 3oz ALAYNA KHAN," adding a baby emoji at the end.

His 26-year-old wife, whom he married in 2013, was four months pregnant when Khan entered the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here jungle.

He finished seventh on the reality series and is reportedly the highest paid contestant in the history of the show.

On 4 August 2017, Amir had announced that the couple had agreed to split.

But in November 2017, photos emerged of Khan and his wife together. Khan later stated that they had had reconciled.

The pair welcomed their first child, Lamaisah, in May 2014.
