Fawad Alam "I have never blamed anybody for the years I lost in international cricket"

All im saying is if you pick players give them a good run and a good few failures before dropping them Chopping and changing after a couple of test does no good They dont develop and are left agrieved Fawad shouldve been give this series and if he failed fair enough to drop him for good

If fawad is not in the plans then drop him but there seems to be no planning with this management Strange selection decisions are made squad to squad and test to test and that shouldnt be the case Why is fawad in squad if hes not gonna play? Why is agha leap frogging saud etc

You should pick players with a plan in mind and selectors captaim and coaches should have a vision they share At the moment they seem clueless and everyone is pulling in different directions

I agree that a player shouldnt be picked for 1 game and then be dropped. However Agha should have never been selected in 1st place. Also if we put out this sort of top 6 vs england and NZ it will end in defeat.

Mo wasim is a clueless selector and pakistans think tank and captaincy has no long term planning. They are just making things up as they go along and hoping for the best.

Also the fascination of playing just 5 front line batsmen when only Abdullah and Babar are reliable is asking trouble.

The team hasn't been announced yet, so it's still likely Fawad might be recalled to replace the aging Azhar Ali

True but seems there is some doubt in managements eyes otherwise they would have called it by now

Also some reports indicating that Nauman could be the only change

Sanity prevails and Fawad back in the XI

Fawad dismissal - out for 24

Our batsmen are woeful against spin

For subcontinental players you would expect them to get forward a lot more use their feet and have flexible wrists .

Sorry but what on earth is this position? Is he trying to play a straight drive past the slip fielder?!

Against Starc the excuses were that he prefers spin and that there is no shame in getting out to Starc. What now? He looks just as clueless against mediocre spinners.

He is absolutely pathetic batsman.
One of the worst batsman ever.
It's just shame that this guy is in the national team.
There are other worthy batsmen who would have been much better than this tailender.

Why on earth replace one has been senior player Azhar with another. pathetic stuff.

Get rid of fawad and saud or kamran ghulam into the team.

Struggling at the moment and not looking too confident.

Last 5 Test scores:

0 9 13 11 24

Could be his Last test Innings in the second Innings.

yeah hes probably got one innings to save his test match career

at his age he cant afford a string of failures like this

His technique today was awful. He should have been on the front foot to the ball that he got out but instead did his usual 'i'll be all over the crease' stance instead.

Too late in the day to sort his technique, reckon its curtains if he cant score big in the 2nd innings.

He's another like azhar ali whose age has caught up both batsmen were always limited talentwise and relied on grit and determination .

Pathetic tuk tuk player

There is no space for him at all. You need strokeplayers to get run rate going.

Yes he deserved more chances in his peak years. However, as mentioned even when he was selected that its national team, you cant use it as a platform to make up for somebody's lost years by adding him when he was clearly past his peak. In the two prior QAE seasons when he was selected many batsmen outperformed him including Saud.

Time to move on and invest in someone who can give some years going forward.

Yes the second innings run out was not his fault but we should move on from him and I think they will move on.

Not good news for PCT. Last 2 series he’s been batting like a tailender. A good domestic season will ensure he remains very much in contention for Eng series. His unorthodox technique combined with slow reflexes now will not cut it at top level
