The perfect start - tactically looking much better than last season. Semedo looking a beast of a RB, worried about Pique's continuous poor form and the shortage of back ups for him.

Suarez looks totally out of sorts and rightfully rested last night but Denis Suarez and controversial signing Paulinho are looking solid.

Overall, very good, Messi is Messi and bigger tests to come notably Athletico Madrid away after the international break where they will deny Messi any space which spells trouble as everything is going through him.
