Akhtars lost a lot since the al barrakah cup in canada. i dont see the masssive belly fat that was there before.

khurram shehzad played brilliantly... got lbw to saeed ajmal in the first ball... and then a doosra to fox a stumping for junaid khan.

Punjab has dominated the tournament so far but I still feel that they might loose the final coz of the extra preassure.
 
I really think Akhtar should always have a first slip whenever he bowls. Its so frustrating to see the batsman outside edging him for 4.

The standard of fielding is horrible in domestic cricket. Even the experienced lot were not to impressive. Akhtar's fielding has really deteriorated from 1999. He used to be so athletic and flexible back then.

Oh but there's still belly fat.. And bulging thighs and hips as well.. Thats what I am saying, max 4-5 kgs but not 10. 10 kgs is a big, big figure.. I lost 3 kgs in the past month and I'm told I've almost become anorexic.. So yeah... He has lost some of it, credit's given :D but not 22pounds, no way..

He is 33 years old or probably older. Its much easier to gain weight at this age then to lose it.
 
^ No doubt.. No arguments there. But 10 kgs is a heck of a difference.. And after every 5 minutes or so the commentators would go : "And here is Shoaib Akhtar, back to play 50 overs, having about 10 kgs lost, or as he claims.." etc..
 
great game, this tournament have been awesome. I wish we could have seen it in USA and UK.

yaar some times they show highlights on GEO a good week or 2 AFTER the tournament has ended.

Age is not an issue - its about professionalism, which Shoaib 'Toy Tiger' Akhtar lacks
