Exactly. Fakhar not performing is more troublesome for us than Imam not performing.

fakhar is only there to give catching practice with that technique...unfortunately he is the only one who plays fast
 
Hopefully Sarfraz be a man today and bat at his pre defined position.
 
If Babar doesnt survive its match over for us.

I have been saying this for a long time. Fakhar has been getting a free ride since that fluke CT hundred. Not to forget, he was out on zero before being summoned back as Bumrah hd overstepped.

Fakhar is as mediocre as they come. Horrendous batsman. A proper minnow bully.
 
Fakhar’s batting style is severely limited. Still feel he gets beaten in the mind, after being held down for a few deliveries. No amount of next practice can help that
 
What is the positive thing here that. Woakes and Archer are arguably the best bowlers in today's England XI. So not to worry much about if you've played these through

It's certain now that Jofra will make the WC squad - last missing piece in Pom's WC equation, now no farther excuse. Let Lord's become Anfield for one day :)
 
I just hope it doesn’t rain. I haven’t watched quality international cricket in a while, thanks to the IPL.

Have to say, i wont be even mad to see England lifting the trophy. If any team deserves it on the basis of quality, its the poms!
 
More than losing its embarrassing cricket for sometime now. No strategy, no planning, no aggression and not even visually pleasing except for Babar’s batting.

We can win matches but with the above mentioned issues there wont be much consistency and success wont be sustainable as we witnessed post CT 17.
 
Not to mention I missed Pakistan’s last series against Australia since it wasn’t broadcast in India.

But the question is will our top order survive before England makes their first change?
 
This delivery where woakes goes wide is usually good enough to take care of shafiq and Azhar
 
Archer is too good for these guys, it's tough enough with the pace, but he is getting movement as well in these conditions.
 
Archer needs to play in the Ashes as well. He is going to take the game by storm very soon.
 
Don’t know why but I have a soft corner for Imam. The guy has been trolled mercilessly for no fault of his.

Archer is good but the pitch is providing a lot of assistance , we will get to see the real him on the usual odi tracks.
 
This Archer guy looks unplayable. Let see if he can do the same with Babar who is in different league from Pakistan players
 
Need khurram manzoor & taufeeq umar lol. May be Wajahat ullah wasti type opener for this world cup

Probably Wood will replace Plunkett, and Roy for Denly - frightening line-up in current ODI context and they are at home as well. Only, chance I see is if they catch the Aussie juggernaut on a KO game, otherwise Poms are almost unbeatable on paper.

he was taken to cleaners in ipl. He would have been taken to a slaughterhouse by a decent batting side. Our side even struggles on flat pitches

Absolutely, they also deserved to win the CT final against India but bottled it. They need to get over their tournie bottling habits and they are gold.
 
I have no issues with Imam just that he is obviously needs consistency as he has been backed ..problem is plunket coming at 11 we have no chance to set a good score as we saw in the 20 20
