Not just for NZ fans but also as a casual viewer, which match do you think was better? Tbh I think SF 2019 was better because it was always close whereas in 2015 were cruising towards the target for most of the time and the match only got close towards the end.

The victory that was better will be the better victory for new zealand fans.

2019 probably. 2015 they completely outplayed saffers I felt. Ridiculously good performance.

If we are comparing SFs, NZ win in 2015 SF was better. They got some luck with themselves in that game because if rain hadn't come, SA would have put 385 on board.

For 2019, India played poor cricket and payed the price. If you play your batting till 8 and leave 10 overs each for Jadeja and Pandya, then no matter in whatever conditions, you gotta chase 240. If you can't , you don't deserve to win the WC.

2019 was better for me.

India were expected to win that game while we all know South Africa choke during big games.

2015 result wasn't surprising but 2019 result was a minor upset.

The rain in 2015 was a godsend for NZ. AB was in his prime, batting beautifully, and hungry.

In the end it was heartbreaking, but NZ fully deserved to progress.

Obviously 2015.

They were genuine contenders for the World Cup, had never qualified for the final before and were playing at home.

I was at Eden Park for the 2015 win, still enjoyed the one over India more as I thought we were sure to lose that match and I think we performed a lot better in it.

really s.africa is my second team and I thought we got completely outplayed there?

AB was in God mode I agree.

But n.z did score at a faster rate though?

but man a player like AB morkel steyn not winning an ICC title. Sometimes sport can be brutal. However they were kings of test cricket for 36 months so it evened out in the end.

2 of the most exciting semis in recent times. Probably 2019 was more enjoyable as no one gave them a chance of beating India.

2015 was more excited as it was at home and it was our first semi win. 2019 was more surprsing though and a bigger win.

If 2015 was his prime than why wasn't he around the next world cup after only 4 years? :yk

2015 definatelty.

Really? SA had the chokers tag but India are a team with championship pedigree and were massive favorites to win. Everyone thought we had no hope and the other 3 should play to get us in the Semis.
