So? Majority on here hate for the sake of it
Just wanna chip in, cause I don't view myself as a hater for the sake of it, I don't view myself a hater at all.
I've explained detail reasoning for each and everything and have summed up the points.
A) Rizwan
- No issues With him replacing an aging out of form Sarfaraz. Although ideally it should have happened post 2021 wc but it's whatever, he had better form at the time and at the very least healthy competition should have been created between these 2.
- Every Issue with him replacing Fakhar Zaman in t20. I've detailed multiple reasons as to why. It's the equivalent of replacing de villers in t20 for rizwan. Unlike odi and test de villers was a clown in international t20 but you'd never replace him for rizzu. You'd replace him for QDK.
That's because de villers has shown time and time again that he's a beast in terms of sr, hence you'd still keep him over an accumulator on the off chance that he launches.
Fakhar is the same. His 91 of 46 to this date is the best t20 innings I've seen a Pakistani batsmen play considering the bowling strength of the opposition and the conditons it was achieved in.
- No issues with rizzu in test squad atm.
- no 4 in odi atm is whatever. I had issues back when better players like haris sohail existed but between the likes of Kamran ghulam(on current form), Saud shakeel( odi), rizwan is the better option. I'd want agha at 4 but agha himself prefers 5 and is best at it.
- Captaincy is whatever as their no options but it's more so a reflection of how crap Pakistan has been in cultivating options. Their entire focus is on Babar and rizwan. This is Pakistan not Team Ba/riz.
B) Misbah
- Not even gonna list it as the list is endless, however all my complaints are only in whiteball atm. The only test complaint would may be that he ran yasir shah into the ground and was still poor overseas but in terms of overseas that's the story of every Pakistani test captain.
- However the proof is in the papers, He and ramiz are by far the 2 worst coaches/captains/ Chairman/ Selectors whatever you wanna call them to represent Pakistan in whiteball. In ramiz case, all formats.
The fact you guys have to create endless semantics to justify it proves my point. It's very easy to play blame games.
Anyone can say Rizwan batted beautifully in Asia cup, it's the job of the lower order to chase 60 of 24 in a pressure final when even Australia likely wouldn't be able to do it under such Asian conditons.
Babar
- No issues with him during mickey era. And no issues with him as a batsmen. He's in poor form, however that's okay. Steve smith was in rubbish test form fir 3 years before returning to his best. Blaming someone for poor form is in bad taste and you're not a true supporter of a player if you hate someone for not kicking off.
- However the fact that during ramiz era he was by far the most powerful man in PCB since the chairman was his chamcha and he curated phattas to i crease his test avg to 70 and fool the public as to why he's the greatest test batter from Pakistan all time is criminal.
By doing this, not only did he butcher fc cricket specifically pace talent as no bowler wants to bowl on such pitches for length spells, but Pakistan didn't win a single test during this period. Mainly cause Usman Khawaja was avg 105, Joe root was avg 100+, Harry Brooks was avg 150+ etc etc in such wickets. Babar was wally Hammond while everyone else was Bradman on such pitches.
He even curated the Nepal Asia cup pitch just to avoid lamichane since lami got the better of him in psl multiple times.
- Not to mention he turned Pakistan cricket into a meme boy band club as captain. Everyone player including himself become fat as a glutton. Rizwan, Babar, Abdullah, Imam, naseem, Rauf have all gained weight under him. Only fakhar, Saim and shaheen remain fit likely due to fakhar's military background, and shaheen always wanting to be a fitness freak and saim not being a full member during babar's reign of terror.
- Lastly he's just ungodly stubborn in attitude. No batting coach has been able to work with Babar, anytime someone asks him to learn to loft and sweep, he typically points to fakhar calling him the X factor, which is rich coming from someone who marketed himself on social media as the Greatest. Him hiding in a super over against USA was comical.
^^ These aren't hating for no reasons and unlike most people Including yourself, i don't play the semantics game. I show you the evidence. But again a flat earther will always be a flat earther even if you take him to space and provide an aerial view of the earth being round
