Pakistan's case is weakened by the following facts

- ICC and BCCI have already granted the PCB the hybrid model at a place ie Sri Lanka where they face no security issues

- Bangladesh Cricket Board has accepted the ICC decision to kick them out of the T20 WC and have announced they will not appeal the decision or go to the CAS. This way they will only lose out on their participation fee but because the Bangladeshi govt did not give the BCB permission to tour India hence why the ICC can't block their shares. That said it is reported that the ICC and BCCI threatened the BCB that if they escalate this further via appeals then they will block their shares as well and they are still throwing a carrot at BCB ie pipe down, we can still forget all this and get you back in the T20 WC and shift your games in Sri Lanka if Pakistan boycotts

PCB tbh should pipe down now. There is zero logic in unnecessarily creating any further drama

Correction. ICC did not kick them out of the WC. ICC choose not accommodate the temper tantrum by an worthless baord for major reshuffle of the WC26 schedule. BCB choose not to participate.

BCB has violated a signed contract and there will be consequences.

Cricket is simply not important enough for any meaningful threat. Cricket contributes less than 0.80% to BD's GDP.

Who cares if BD get penalized in cricket? Cricket has turned into a farcical Indian sport. It is also a dying sport.
