I would like to think radicals in Bangladesh are small in numbers, although in recent times it might have gone up as some of the old leaders have found voice. BD should welcome freedom of religion for all of its minority communities.I'm more surprised that any sane person is surprised at those radical Islamists.

I would say majority of India is following the path of religious intolerance , riots. And winning election by dividing people in the name of religion to hoodwink us from lack of development and economic disparity.Any country that encourages Religion & hate will end up like Pak and Afghanistan.
Even some section of India is following the same hate path .(bitter Truth)
On the other hand, China, which prioritizes Science & Tech is zooming into future with the right focus.

Diplomatic and official passport holders of Bangladesh and Pakistan will be able to travel to each other's countries without visas.
A draft agreement to this effect was approved yesterday at the weekly meeting of the advisory council, chaired by Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus, at his office, according to a press release from the cabinet division.
This agreement with Pakistan will be valid for five years, said Shafiqul Alam, the chief adviser's press secretary, in a press briefing yesterday.
At present, Bangladesh has similar agreements with 31 other countries.
Pakistan has little to offer as an economic partner to Bangladesh. Rather, I fear this arrangement will make it easier for extremists and terrorists groups of Pakistan to infiltrate our nation.@sweep_shot

Pay attention to the uprising in the Youth of Bangladesh...In a few years these Youth will be running Bangladesh in professional fields and they are "Pro-Islam"
India did not win in 1971, people of Bangladesh reinforced the "Two Nation Theory" by creating Bangladesh!
- Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islam is the most organized (Pro-Islam) party in Bangladesh
- Its student wing is called Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir which was banned
- 1972: Party is banned due to allegation of supporting Pakistan
- 2013: Bangladesh Supreme Court bans its parent organization Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islam
- August 2025: Contests and wins landslide victory at Dhaka University
- September 2025: Contests and wins Jahangirnagar University
- October 2025: Leading polls at Rajshahi University

India and their agents (Awami League) tried to ban Jamaat-e-Islami saying it is an extremist party.
In reality, it is a party that simply wants to implement Islamic rulings. It is not an extremist party. It has no link to terrorism.
Are there bad apples in the party? There can be some bad apples. All parties can have bad apples. But, as a whole, this party simply wants to implement Islam which is a noble objective.
I just hope Bangladesh will move away from dirty parties like Awami League and BNP. Both are rotten and are possibly in India's pocket. We need new parties in charge who will look after BD's interests and not India's interests.
India lost in Bangladesh when Mujeeb was assassinated in 1975. Mujeeb was 100% an Indian agent just like Hasina was. That's why BD military assassinated Mujeeb.
