Future of Bangladesh

I would like to think radicals in Bangladesh are small in numbers, although in recent times it might have gone up as some of the old leaders have found voice. BD should welcome freedom of religion for all of its minority communities.

@Bhaijaan @Bhaag Viru Bhaag @sweep_shot

Indians like to make lots of fake news. I do not give any importance to what they think about Bangladesh.

These same Indians were praising Bangladesh when their puppet Hasina was in power. Once she was ousted, Bangladesh suddenly became bad for them. LOL.

Anyway, Bangladesh do not need India. Bangladesh should improve relations with China, gulf states, Turkey, Pakistan etc. They should also keep a good relation with USA.

Any country that encourages Religion & hate will end up like Pak and Afghanistan.

Even some section of India is following the same hate path .(bitter Truth)

On the other hand, China, which prioritizes Science & Tech is zooming into future with the right focus.

:kp
I would say majority of India is following the path of religious intolerance , riots. And winning election by dividing people in the name of religion to hoodwink us from lack of development and economic disparity.

Diplomatic and official passport holders of Bangladesh and Pakistan will be able to travel to each other's countries without visas.

A draft agreement to this effect was approved yesterday at the weekly meeting of the advisory council, chaired by Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus, at his office, according to a press release from the cabinet division.

This agreement with Pakistan will be valid for five years, said Shafiqul Alam, the chief adviser's press secretary, in a press briefing yesterday.

At present, Bangladesh has similar agreements with 31 other countries.

Very nice.

Hopefully it will boost tourism industry and other industries in both countries.

Pakistan has little to offer as an economic partner to Bangladesh. Rather, I fear this arrangement will make it easier for extremists and terrorists groups of Pakistan to infiltrate our nation.

As per reports, Dhaka is the 3rd least favourable city to live and Karachi is the 4th.both are economic capital of the respective countries.

I dont see anything to trade apart from you know what .

Is there any way we Indians can help this Bangladesh-Pakistan program? We have many Bangladeshi tourists in India which we can help travel to Pakistan via Wagah border free of cost.

Seems good that they got rid of her, but no way is FT ever doing a piece on Pakistani Establishment.

India and their agents (Awami League) tried to ban Jamaat-e-Islami saying it is an extremist party.

In reality, it is a party that simply wants to implement Islamic rulings. It is not an extremist party. It has no link to terrorism.

Are there bad apples in the party? There can be some bad apples. All parties can have bad apples. But, as a whole, this party simply wants to implement Islam which is a noble objective.

I just hope Bangladesh will move away from dirty parties like Awami League and BNP. Both are rotten and are possibly in India's pocket. We need new parties in charge who will look after BD's interests and not India's interests.

India lost in Bangladesh when Mujeeb was assassinated in 1975. Mujeeb was 100% an Indian agent just like Hasina was. That's why BD military assassinated Mujeeb.

Among the BD military officers who assassinated Mujeeb, one of them lives in Etobicoke, Toronto (not far from my house). I wish I could buy him a coffee for his great service to Bangladesh.

I believe modern day young Bangladeshis are unlikely to accept BNP or Awami League. We are likely to see NCP, Jamaat-e-Islami, and various new parties. This is indeed a new political chapter and I am looking forward to it.

Bangladesh scraps plan to hire music teachers after Islamist anger In August, the ministry overseeing primary education issued a circular announcing the recruitment of music teachers -- a decision that the interim government has now reversed.

Now am genuinely intrigued whether music is Islamic or not. Pak, Iran , Turkey etc produced so many great musicians . Now bng says everything is unIslamic and bad.Even in india, i never heard much opposition from Muslims against it. All I can recall zakir Hussain, bismillah khan etc.Even current famous ghazal singer such as hari haran regularly posts about his guru late ustad mustafa khan.

Music has had issues with various sections among Muslim groups but if you read the article it says:

"Both the music and physical education posts have now been dropped," said the official.

PE is important , so that was even more stupid..as music many schools don’t have but PE? Cmon lol

They should implement sharia and go full on Islamic. No point dilly dallying around that decision. After all God’s law will always be above man made laws.
I hope Pakistan also implements full Sharia in their country. 👍

There are enough videos on YouTube calling Music Haram by popular E-Mullah’s. Not just music. Movies, theatre and other performing arts are all unIslamic as per them.

Dhaka on high alert following crude bomb, arson attacks

A wave of arson and crude bomb attacks at multiple locations across Dhaka yesterday, targeting public transport, institutions linked to the chief adviser and fisheries adviser, the National Citizen Party, and religious establishments, has sparked public anxiety.

Crude bombs were hurled at 11 locations throughout the day, while three buses were set on fire, prompting the authorities to ramp up security. No casualties were reported in the arson incidents.

The police headquarters directed all stations in Dhaka to intensify patrols and surveillance ahead of November 13, when the International Crimes Tribunal is scheduled to set the date for delivering its verdict in a case against ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina.

Security has also been strengthened around key installations and religious establishments across the country.

In a statement last night, the Chief Adviser's Press Wing said the Dhaka Metropolitan Police and Rapid Action Battalion have launched a citywide manhunt to arrest those involved in the attacks. It also warned that any attempt to disrupt the nation's religious coexistence would be met with the full force of the law.

CHAIN OF ATTACKS

The attacks began early in the morning and continued until late at night.

The first explosion occurred around 3:45am in front of the Grameen Bank headquarters, an institution associated with Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus. Two people on a motorcycle hurled a crude bomb at the building before fleeing, said Sajjad Roman, officer-in-charge of Mirpur Model Police Station.

Less than four hours later, another duo on a motorbike threw crude bombs at Prabartana, a business establishment owned by Fisheries and Livestock Adviser Farida Akhter, in Mohammadpur, said Kazi Rafique Ahmed, Mohammadpur OC.

Around 7:30am, four crude bombs were hurled, two targeting Ibn Sina Hospital and two others in front of Midas Centre in Dhanmondi, said Shah Mostafa Tariquzzaman, assistant commissioner of DMP's Dhanmondi Zone.

In the evening, multiple explosions rocked different parts of the capital, near Mouchak intersection around 6:00pm, in front of Bangladesh Betar in Agargaon around 6:20pm, on Khilgaon Flyover around 6:30pm, and near Shah Ali Market in Mirpur around 6:40pm.

It seems like members of Awami League are doing this.

This is why I propose detaining all Awami League members (leaders and supporters). Also, ban the party like Germany banned Nazi party.

Both Awami League and BNP need to be purged. Need some new parties in the spotlight now.
