The awkward moment ; when some one posts a dozen times to make sense of N league by highlighting their so called positives and starts his/her 13th posts by claiming that he/she is by no means a N league supporter.
PSL final in Lahore is not such a huge thing. It is good for people at the stadium for few hours, a one day festival and nothing more. It has nothing to do with the revival of international cricket or bringing normality in our sporting set up . Have you people forgotten Zimbabwe series which has also described as harbinger of change for int'l cricket?
I always wait for that point and then chuckle. Is there any Nooras that can actually debate and justify their stupidity.?
You don't have to be a genius to know that the PSL final is not a big step towards reviving international cricket in Pakistan. However, it is far better than sitting idle and doing nothing, which seems to be the solution of the people who are criticizing it simply because it is difficult for them to digest due to political reasons.
PSL final this year, maybe play-offs next year. Few years down the line, perhaps the whole PSL. That is how international cricket will be revived in Pakistan. We have to take incremental steps. International cricket has been doing fine without Pakistan hosting matches. Unless we continue to push the foreign players, they will never come.
Zimbabwe tour in 2015, PSL in 2017, talks with Bangladesh board and the WI board continue to be held, perhaps the full PSL in a few years etc. etc., all of this will lead to bringing international cricket back to Pakistan. If we just sit on the fence, no one will tour Pakistan in the next 50 years.
