Gujarat Titans Beat Rajasthan Royals To Win Maiden IPL Title in 2022

Choker KL gone from Punjab, finally they learnt to chase totals.

After losing to Delhi Capitals (DC) on Sunday, Mumbai Indians (MI) have been fined for maintaining a slow over rate during Match 2 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. It was also the franchise's first offence of the season under IPL's Code of Conduct relating to minimum over rate offences, so captain Rohit Sharma has been fined Rs 12 lakhs.

Punjab Kings on Sunday defeated RCB by 5 wickets in the ongoing IPL 2022 season at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Chasing a target of 206, PBKS chased down the target with one over to go, thanks largely to Shahrukh Khan and Odean Smith's late surge.

Shahrukh and Smith stitched an unbeaten partnership of 52 after RCB had pegged back PBKS with quick wickets. Earlier, Faf du Plessis led the way with a fine 88, while cameos from Virat Kohli and Dinesh Karthik powered RCB to a massive total of 205 for two.

After being put on to bat first, Du Plessis and Anuj Rawat gave RCB a solid start, adding 50 runs for the first wicket before the latter was dismissed in the 7th over. RCB continued to pile on the runs as the captain and Kohli added 118 runs for the second wicket.

However, Du Plessis missed out on his century, before Dinesh Karthik added much-needed fireworks to RCB's innings.

For Punjab Kings, Rahul Chahar and Arshdeep Singh took a wicket apiece. Initially, PBKS won the toss and have opted to field. Both franchises will be with new captains and will be aiming for a win in this fixture.

Familiar faces in new uniforms. Good luck to the two new kids on the block.

Also, must say the Wankhede looking pristine and beautiful.

Ball of the year by shami to kl Rahul what a start first ball of the match and amazing seam presentation haven’t seen a ball like that in ages

Pandya poor captaincy here , he should have gone for the kill early on , but he has let this partnership develop here.

Watching this kid, Badoni bat. He's just smoked Lockie Ferguson for a six on the pull. That is unbelievable skill and great to watch.

Titans need 71 runs in 36 balls.

Required rate almost 12 now , Gujrat needs to explode here

Umran Malik was very popular in tennis ball circuit.
The batsmen couldn't see his ball he was very fast with tennis ball
It's not surprising he can bowl 150ks with hard ball.

Smbhayi are Malayalees supporting Rajasthan this year due to Samson and Devdutt?

I hope Devdutt doesn’t end up like other batsmen from Karnataka- aka Rahul Robin the UA (talents) of India.

Btw RR got pretty good bowling line up this year.. they should be disappointed if they didn't make it to qualifiers..

RR has an amazing team. The only problem is all rounders at 6 and 7.
