Gujarat Titans Beat Rajasthan Royals To Win Maiden IPL Title in 2022

Pandya makes me puke don’t know why everything about him seems wrong.

Pant has played a lot of winning knocks for us in crunch situations so I have no issues with his poor IPL performance, Pandya seems to be the opposite!

IPL 2022, Rajasthan Royals vs Gujarat Titans Score Updates: Gujarat Titans (GT) on Wednesday outplayed Rajasthan Royals (RR) in match 24 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

Chasing a target of 193, RR were restricted to a total of 115 for nine. For GT, Lockie Ferguson took four wickets while Yash Dayal also picked up three wickets.

Earlier, Hardik Pandya played a whirlwind knock of 87 as GT posted a total of 192 for four. Hardik and Abhinav Manohar rescued GT from a tricky situation before the former and David Miller added some late fireworks to push their total to 192.

Earlier, RR won the toss and elected to bowl. At the toss, RR captain Sanju Samson confirmed that James Neesham will make his debut, and will replace Trent Boult, who has a slight niggle. GT, on the other hand, make two changes -- Yash Dayal replaces Nalkande for Titans and Vijay Shankar replaces Sai Sudharsan

Not been able to really follow this year's IPL, but from a few snippets I seen from the GT, they look like the team to beat. Miller, Shankar and Pandya and then Rashid and Lockie is a destructive team.

Did you really say Shankar? Oh my god..

Iyer has got a start , needs to go deep , his team needs him , KKR have big hitters down the order , they need to bat deep till 15th over and then try to get 60 off last 5

Deepak Chahar has been ruled out of IPL 2022.

Shreyas such a poor player against pacers.. wasn't able to put a bat vs Umran and finally clean bowled by him.. Dale Steyn likes that..

75 . 4

9 overs left

KKR need some big overs here to get back on track , 130 - 140 is not enough here

Shreyas should be dropped from Indian T20 team. He is awful vs high pace and bounce. Don't take him to Australia.

Am reading many tweets on twitter about IPL viewership being significantly lower this year vs last year.

16 off last 3 balls by Russell , takes the total to 175

KKR again losing wickets at regular intervals , and top order continues to fail.

Tripathi has played a blinder here , KKR again paying for reckless approach put in by Maccullum

Half-centuries from Rahul Tripathi and Aiden Markram took SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) to a comfortable seven-wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Match 25 of IPL 2022 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.

Tripathi (71 off 37) and Markram (68 not out) added 94 runs for the third wicket as SRH chased down the total with 13 balls to spare.. Earlier, Nitish Rana scored a fine 54 while Andre Russell hammered an unbeaten 49 as KKR managed to post a total of 175 for eight.

Rana and Russell stitched an important partnership as KKR managed to recover from a top-order collpase. For SRH, T Natarajan took three wickets while Umran Malik also picked two wickets. Earlier, SRH won the toss and elected to bowl.

At the toss, SRH captain Kane Williamson confimed that Jagadeesha Suchith has replaced the injured Washington Sundar in their playing XI. KKR, on the other hand, make three changes with Aaron Finch, Aman Khan, Sheldon Jackson replacing Sam Billings, Ajinkya Rahane and Rasikh Salam.

Covid-19 Hits Delhi Capitals Camp: Patrick Farhart, a former physio of the Indian cricket team and currenly with Delhi Capitals has tested positive for Covid-19, according to a statement released by IPL.

“Delhi Capitals physio Patrick Farhart has been tested positive for COVID-19. He is being closely monitored by the DC Medical Team at the moment,” read the statement.

With cases gradually rising, COVID threat has increased during the two-month-long IPL.

Last year, the tournament had to be suspended at the peak of the second wave in May and was later completed in the UAE.

The BCCI is staging the premier T20 event in four stadiums across Maharashtra to minimise the COVID-19 threat. However, the play-offs are expected to be played outside the state.

The league games are being held in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Pune.

In another developement, Kolkata Knight Riders has roped in Harshit Rana as a replacement for Rasikh Salam.

“Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have signed fast bowler Harshit Rana as a replacement for pacer Rasikh Salam for the rest of the TATA IPL 2022 season. Salam, who played 2 games for KKR this season, has been ruled out owing to a lower back injury and will take no further part in the tournament,” the statement further read.

Deepak Chahar Ruled Out

While it is no secret that Chennai Super Kings (CSK) pacer Deepak Chahar will not be available for the franchise for this year’s IPL due to a back injury, the IPL statement officially confirmed his unavailability for the entire length of the tournament.

“Chennai Super Kings bowler Deepak Chahar has been ruled out of the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 owing to a back injury,” said the statement.

A dream innings by Karthik here, another great contribution by him this season. What has he eaten in preparation for this IPL? Never in my life have I ever seen him play so well in a single series or tournament. Admirable batting!

Karthik looking to break the door of selection , the way he is batting you may see him in Indian 20 20 XI

So RCB does not miss ABD at all.. And that's Warner's 3rd six.. one of them was 55 meter long 😬
