Imran played a gem of an innings in the World Cup final but if Inzamam hadn't saved us during the semi final, would Imran's innings be remembered as a match losing one? His strike rate was less than 50 despite playing almost one third of the deliveries while chasing a big total for that time.

It's true that Inzi bailed us out in that semi but all major triumphs require a little bit of luck to go your way. And if you really want to get in to the nitty gritty, then it was Immy who campaigned to get Inzi in the side the first place.
