I’ve seen Haider Ali drop more catches than Abdul Razzaq. This guy cannot catch and yet they still field him as a boundary rider.

Scary how only in one year he has become a zero from a hero. No where on the radar, and his good performances are very scarce these days.
How did he do today. I have only seen the scorecard and a few shots.
It's Haider Ali's misfortune that his transition into international cricket has been overseen by visionless, fickle Pakistani coaches and captains.
Babar would do well to remember how Mickey backed him even when his numbers merited a drop in Tests.
He's one of the few Pakistani batsmen who bats with intent. He shouldn't have been dropped from the XI in the first place - his last T20I scores read 45(38), 68(39) and 31(34).
We've no idea how to handle positive batsmen, we'd much rather reward someone for a useless 50(40). He should play all 7 T20Is vs England and given license to attack. If he gets out playing attacking shots, so be it but just give him a proper run.
Really really pray he is played in all 12 matches before the WC but don’t have high hopes from stubborn Babar
I would have played Basit Ali Jnr or Shahwaiz in place of Haider, both of them have a sound technique and a power game.

How has he been promoted to platinum category for PSL 8?![]()
Will win us more matches than Babar and Rizwan combined.
Back him to the hilt.

He is a good talent worth investing in. Pakistan made a mistake in not including him when he had just started and was high on confidence. Being in and out of team has caused him to be insecure.
This is a problem with Pakistan cricket. You have a new young batsman that scored a nice 50 in England on debut. This means he has the skill and temperament. Rather than continuing with that, you excluded him and went back to Malik and Hafeez...
Now you are back and picking him again. Why drop him in the first place?
Poor management.
This guy has some serious backer behind him since England series he has failed In all games bar one warmup game vs new Zealand.
This year 2022 in 11 games he averages 10 , that's tailender territory.
How many times he got life?
Strange decision really.
I guess this sort of thing happens if you are in the T20I squad currently.
Exactly!! People called him talented. Not sure what is the definition of talent.
I have never seen such useless cricketers being part of a major cricket team, consistently failing and and still somehow playing on a regular basis.
Absolutely hopeless fielder.
He is in the same league as Asif Ali. Cant bat, cant field, and certainly cant bowl.
Pointless hacks!
Most likely strong connection. This guy is just rubbish.

He has a glaring technical issue where he plays a cross his bad.
Today was not the first time....
But even if he sorts this out he should not play for Pakistan until and unless he learns how to field.
Pathetic
Hes awful Poor technique and even poorer shot selection Just seems like a tailender hack who doesnt have a clue how to bat properly
Play the ball on merit and straight How difficult is that
Anyone know if Saeed Ajmal is his batting coach?
I'd say Saeed was a much better batter. We all remember his inns at 9 down with Amir vs NZ. He also has 1 fifty in test cricket as well.
The approach is poor.
The stats are poor.
Tactically poor.
Technically poor.
I'm losing faith in Haider.
OMG! How did he get selected?Catch after catch - dropped in practice.

Perfect example of how you need to let a youngster play domestic cricket for 3-4 years where he needs to have 2-3 good consistent seasons with the bat where he scores big runs, big daddy hundreds before being sent on A tours, if he does well on A tours only then pick him for the national side.
Sometime we overcook the talent re Saud Shakeel and then at times we undercookelala ala Haider.
Straight to domestics , he is mentally weak and completely lost.
Misbah and Mickey thats the difference , MA backs and makes a player like Babar who is he now.
Sorry state for Haider , this guy was so high in confidence 2 years ago. By now he would’ve been the next big thing like Babar if MA was his coach, unfortunately got those bhai log as his mentor.
