Halal meat at Costco in Canada

Costco Canada is now selling Halal meat at their warehouses. Its full goat or lamb and cost 100C$. We bought one and get it cut for 25$ by a muslim butcher. Just ate it in nihari and it was delicious

I actually grew up in a town that is packed by asians. I was fortunate to eat halal meat in high school. Shephards Pie, Chicken Pie and whole load more

Every meat shop in my area is Halal, even if it is not owned by a non Muslim. Every home cooked meat that i've consumed has been Halal. Inshallah

A lot of UK supermarkets offer halal meat now (much to the chagrin of the racists)

e.g. some Asdas (Walmart) have Haji Baba butcher counters

Some Costco's in Orange County do sell it. There's a large arab population there.

Its still very rare to find Halal meat in super markets not owned by desis. Although we did bust a desi super market selling non halal meat and labeling it 'halal' just a few years ago, its always advisible to know who their distributor is.
