true, ain't nothing wrong to have a day to thank them with all your heart for what they do for you in life!sam1eh said:I think most ppl do, they just like to make an extra special effort on fathers/mothers day etc
no bargaining, no arguments or excuses to get out or have someone else pay .... hmmmm.... are you desi? Father's day may have been made by a desi to test the kids/familyThe Blazer said:You people saying, Oh why should we celebrate father's day, you're just cheap. Can't be bothered to go out and spend some cash.
while reading the 1st para of your post i was thinking of saying the exact same thing...Daoud said:For some reason its Father's day in September here. My parents generally dont care much for Mother's/Father's day but my Khala does so because of that I'll end up sending my mum a Happy Mother's day message. Last year my sister didnt so my mum wasnt too happy. My Khalu doesnt really care much for it so nothing ever happens here and because of the different dates I dont think I say anything to my dad either.
My grandma was asking if theres also a children's day. Well ignoring World Children's Day, I dont know if Hallmark has created one but either way that would be the most pointless thing ever
Fathers day for us down here in Oz is around the 2nd of September (I think).qasim722 said:yep ,3rd sunday of june.(U.K,Pakistan,U.S.A, etc)
