Has Babar Azam's reign as captain been the most frustrating to endure as a Pakistani fan

I used to be a huge Misbah Critic but atleast the guy knew what he was doing in the UAE

Babar on the other hand is just a panoti who has turned the Pakistani test side into Karachi Kings. Ramiz was the bigger disaster for giving such an incompetent individual so much undeserved power and people need to realize what a big favor the PDM government has done by getting rid off him as he stubbornly supported Babar against all forms of criticism and vowed to keep him in charge as long as he was Chairman.

I don't think Babar has the understanding of the game all he knows we have to go out there bat and field and try to beat the opposition.
If we compare him to stokes,stokes play s cricket like chess

I agree. Even Azhar Ali was a better captain than Babar.

It seems that Babar just plays the waiting game and let's the opposition rack up 400 plus scores and declare on their own.

Their is no creativity to try and bowl them out.

Babar is one of those who just has some talent as a batsman. He doesn’t understand the game at all. Even in his batting, he doesn’t ever show anything strategic. There is no intentional change in pace or anything. Babar just bats.

Even in that much hyped century in the 2019 WC Vs New Zealand. Babar just batted, it was Haris Sohail that provided the critical attacking moments

Inzy used to give off that vibe too, but in his batting at least he was very good at pacing his innings and targeting bowlers etc.

It was juvenile thinking by Misbah to make him captain just because he was apparently the most talented batsman in the team.

Easily amongst the worst captains we've ever had. Remarkable how he's shown absolutely no progression as captain over 2-3 years.
