We may all not like Advani and co but the court has taken a decision based upon evidence etc.

Or has there been a major miscarriage of justice? Can the Indian courts be relied to make the right decision in this case?

A bit too contrived, am afraid - almost predictable.

I will be honest, YES I do believe justice has not been served.

I don't believe there was a need for a temple on that site itself, a new one could have been constructed close to the mosque without demolishing it. However the mosque demo and temple construction is more about rallying the Hindu majority for the BJP rather than the religious side of it imo..

They can.

Problem is that when you try to get political advantage from a case it more often than not backfires.

Congress govt went for the conspiracy case to cast a wider net and get as many sangh parivar leaders into the jail it could. It hoped to finish the bjp. But consipracy is difficult to prove.

They should have gone for the striaght forward demolition case against the ones who were actually seen demolishing the structure.

Their weakest points were

1. The tapes submitted to show that the leaders asked the crowd to break the structure shows, leaders like Ashok Singhal actually asking the crowd to not demolish the structure as the idols of ram lalla were kept under the central dome and they might be damaged.

2. The footage shows that the idols were removed by the chief priest and taken away by him only after the demolition had started. This further destroyed the pre planned angle, as else the idols would have been shifted earlier.

Its sad that congress's desire to take maximum political mileage out of the event actually led to a weak case.

A striaght forward case against those who actually demolished the structure would have got better results.

Depends on who you are asking. If you are a minority, then probably no.

If you are a hindu, then the vast majority of the country will give a resounding YES.

Maybe this will encourage Indian Hindus to have more balls than ever before and they do something about the other temples they claim have been turned into mosques.

Actually hindus asked for only 3 sites. Ayodhya,Kashi and Mathura.

Mathura site was handed over to hindus way back in 1933 by the courts of British India. But the decree was not enforced due to political reasons. Then in 1968 Indira Gandhi govt forced the temple trust to sign an agreement which allows the shahi idgah mosque to remain as it is. This was day light robbery from hindus.

Kashi Gyanvyapi mosque is historically accepted to have been made by breaking the Vishwanath temple. You can still see the old parts of the temple on the backside of the mosque.

After formation of a separate nation for hindus, it was only fair that hindus get their temples back and Gandhi and Patel were in agreement and it started with the Somnath Temple. But once they passed away, Nehru started his sickularism.

Regarding balls, well the day the majority decides we want to be a religious republic, we will be one.

Its internationally accepted that religious republics exist. Also countries convert buildings to places of worship, like Hagia Sophia in turkey.

Hopefully that day doesn't arrive

But once they passed away, Nehru started his sickularism.

.

Ahhh my boy Nehru, Sickularism = Majority takes all the burden for the minority...

I keep saying over and over and over again, Pakistan, China or any other countries are not the enemy of India, it has always been Congress that is trying to break India from within since independence. Nehru planted the seed of destruction and it was upto the Italians to finish the job, BUT Then BANGGGG PM Modi appeared...

I find the result to be too convenient but then not sure what we expected

Temple construction hits loose sand hurdle

The finding has not surprised experts from IIT-Madras, the Central Building Research Institute (CBRI) and Larsen & Toubro as the site stands in close proximity to the banks of the Saryu river.

The actual construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya has further delayed after experts have found loose sand a few feet deep into the earth. The finding has not surprised experts from IIT-Madras, the Central Building Research Institute (CBRI) and Larsen & Toubro as the site stands in close proximity to the banks of the Saryu river.

Members of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, a trust formed to oversee the project, had earlier decided to begin the actual construction by October 15.

“It is true that the experts have found sand below the ground. But this has not come as a surprise. Finding sand is very much expected as the city stands on the shores of a river. The experts are working to find a solution to ensure that the base of the temple is no less strong than planned,” said trust member Anil Mishra.

He said the head of the temple construction committee, Nripendra Mishra, is expected to visit the site on Monday and may take a decision thereafter.

The engineering department of IIT-Madras has so far collected soil samples for tests by digging a few ditches.
In October first week, the Trust got carved stones shifted from the Karsevakpuram workshop to the temple premises and decided to begin construction by October 15. On delay in construction, Trust office bearers had earlier said that they did not want to rush into things as they planned to build a temple grand enough so that people recognise it as the centre of Hindu faith and strong enough to survive for more than 1,000 years.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had performed ‘bhoomi pujan’ for the temple on August 5 after a Supreme Court bench in a unanimous verdict last year transferred the land to a trust for construction of a Ram temple.

I am no expert in this but how was Babri Masjid standing there for so many years with loose sand beneath it? :inti
