Has two new balls helped the ODI format or not?

I am not a fan of 2 new balls. It made ODI far more batting-friendly.

They should return to 1 new ball.

2 new ball rule was terrible when the kookaburra balls themselves were rubbish(2013-2021). It's a fair bit better now so , it's a bit more balanced now.

Would still prefer if they went back to just playing with 1 ball

Kookaburra balls are different now? How so? What changed?

The downfall of ODIs started in mid 2000s when ICC started to tinker with ODI rules starting with PP and super subs. For me ODIs were never the same after and the new ball thing in 2010 or something completed the farce..
