He's only 20 years old.
He has picked up 28 wickets in 8 fc games.
I'm really impressed by him in the ongoing Semi final against Peshawar Panthers. He bowled some jaffer Steyn-esque outswingers. On one he got batsman nicking to the keeper and on other he was dropped by the fielder in the slips. Not sure about his speed but he can bowl in the same pace as M Asif. He definitely looks much better than Ehsan Adil to me. I think he could be the Mohammad Asif we were looking for..

Has got a good away seaming ball , but pace is too low for an International level bowler, at best he is 128-134k bowler.

And how quick is B Kumar from India..if you have the skills 130 is enough to create problems. If you dont know how to use the ball even 150 is useless:Sami
 
What I'm more impressed is he was the only one bowler who got batsmen edging in this tournament and not edging to normal deliveries but jaffers. It is his line and length I'm impressed of. He bowls in some good channels.
 
just saw a bit of him vs the Panthers, is similar to Aizaz Cheema.
 
Bhuvi is more quicker plus he gets decent bounce as well , Hasan bowls practically dies after pitching but then its happening to almost 80% of the domestic bowlers currently playing in this t20.

Good late swing and also reverse swing in the last over with older ball. I am impressed.

Also showed he could bowl the yorkers.
 
I saw him in the last over. Yes speed isn't there, but he was getting some late swing.

He needs to take advantage of his hight as well, at the delivery point he seemed to be bending too much.

Really impressive! Has some serious pace! Hits the deck hard! And swung the ball as well! I am excited!

And I just came to know he got 11/4 in his previous match!

Have we found a genuine fast bowler in him?
 
Indeed he is impressive, he got the pace and Swing. But he needs to work on his line and length, he needs some polishing from NCA coaches.
 
Between hassan Ali and ammad butt(both young, right arm fast bowler) who is the better one ???
Both will be tough competition for each other as the play for sialkot.
Hope one out of them becomes an out and out fast bowler.
Really missing aggressive fast bowling from Pakistan.

He has got a decent FC and List A record.

Hope this year he plays departmental cricket.

He is mentioned medium fast though I think he is fast medium. He needs to put on some muscle. He is very lean. Amad Butt seemed more pacy than him with a better built.

Amad was hurrying even the established batsmen.

Hasan did a good job as well.


Although, it does not add too much to the cricket playing experience, for purely viewers perspective a speed gun is necessary. Wake up PCB ...
 
Hasan Ali and Zain Abbas should be called in NCA. Both are very fine prospects.

I think he is there in between medium-fast and fast!

I rate Hassan Ali and Majid Ali very highly. This Sialkot bowler, and the Multan leftie. Very good prospects.

fata or any other region could have him in squad but he isnt playing wow thats pcb for you , he is a brilliant bowler

There are many phast bowler around with speed in mid 102s, who can swing. Unless some of them has pace around 140, I don't want to listen this. Taking some wickets at Pakistan's FC cricket is not a big deal. That's why I'm not excited about that guy from Pindi----Sarmad ?

Hassan Raza jnr is quality and he is playing quaid e azam trophy .

Then there is a slingy bowler right arm fast medium bowler he is good .

A quality legspinner 32 years old abdul shakoor with a runup and action quote similar to Shane Warne. He takes lots of wickets every year in inter district but can't make islamabad or any department team sadly. Deserves to play quaid e azam trophy.

Afaq raheem is still playing quaid e azam trophy.

Hassan Raza jnr with hardwork can make pakistan team within 2 years. He has in him.

Need to lobby the PCB to get these guys into FC and Pakistan squads.

Need more Kashmiri blood in the Pakistan team.

I am more interested to know the ball quality and pitch. Because these 2 things in our FC make even mediocre bowlers look like McGraths
 
Wish he had more pace , currently he is just touch quicker than Anwar Ali and Aamer Yamin but seams the ball away like McGrath use to do but doesnt get enough bounce.
 
This guy might be having some magic in his hands , 4,5 and 6 fers every match.

Yes, but if he is getting results, then I don't think any of those will matter any more. Let us wait till the end of this season, and see how it transpires for him. He gets a good proportion of his wickets as bowled and LBW, which along with his respectable economy and average in List-A hints that he is good at bowling yorkers. However, I have observed that he usually takes middle and lower order wickets, which may play against him, but still he stands ahead of the others imo.

I respect your opinion.....but you have to see these batters to whom he was bowling.
We need more than a decent quality bowler for national team. Thats I said he will be tested in psl when he will bowl to international players. We will get a good measure of him....when he gets reverse sweeped...... scooped....etc. And still he takes wickets at a good economy rate

No i watched his whole spell in the morning, and he was certainly between 135-140 kph.

Shehzad rana looked aound 130-135 kph and Hassan looked fairly quicker than him

Wish we had a speed gun for such an event , it costs around 1200 dollars. I don't know why can't PCB spend some money on things like that. Enhances the viewing pleasure.
 
So he can now swing the ball too? last time I checked he was seaming it away like Mc Grath and was bowling in early 130ks., has he still got the same seam movement too? and finally was he bowling with the kookabura?
