Brits like to moan about a lot of things, the weather, Indian call centres, inflation, immigration and so on. But they are quite happy to read about it in the tabloids and forget about it. In reality, most wouldn't want to turn the clock back to ye olde Brittania. You could always move to Sunderland or Carlisle if you really miss it.

I don't actually know Carlisle that well to be fair, I drove by once or twice and it looked like it had about five houses in all. The other place which is famous only for Brexit and having the saddest football team in England, well the less said the better.
