This guy is a very good power hitter. Does anyone know why he is not part of PSL? He only plays one dayers and T20's so he should be available for almost all of PSL.

Because Azam Khan is better player than him![]()
Seems like a very good ODI player, time for SA to ditch Miller and get Klaasen in the middle order.
De Kock, Amla, Faf, ABD, Duminy, Klaasen is a good top 6.
Is it feasible given the quota system though?
Not convinced with him. I would wait until he plays a similar inning with a dry ball.
Everyone was smashing Chahal due to wet ball. Same thing happened in 4th ODI also. Ball got wet and Klassen/Phelukawayo/Miller were all hitting sixes for fun against Chahal and Kuldeep. Then the next 2 ODI's, ball was dry and they looked like total noobs.

Haris Rauf to Klaasen, 1 run, whipped away to fine leg and Klaasen is finally off the mark after 19 balls
during 1st ODI vs Pakistan (2021)
42nd over - 24 runs.Monster innings against Australia!
One for the history books. Heinrich Klaasen just belted the fifth highest score by a South African in ODI cricket

Klassen is a very ordinary player. As I said South Africa do have plenty of good players at domestic level who at least deserve to get a look in. I don't know why Boucher doesn't consider them.
Verryene, Hamza, Janneman, T de Zorzi, Keegan Peterson are worth giving a go. 3 of them are colored, so they will still meet transformation targets.
Bowling they have Nandre Burger who is quite nippy and that U19 lad Coetzee who may eventually get a look in.
This won’t be the first thing you will be wrong about. Believe it.Klaasen has improved immensely in last 12 months and I was wrong about him being a mediocre player, but truth is that at the time, he wasn't coming off at all. However I'm not bull headed to defend everything I've said before, and do admit that I was wrong.
You need to let them loose. What a massive inning he played tonight.
Why can't pakistan produce such batsman who can fininsh the inning like him.
He has come a long way and improved his style of batting. The most improved cricketer for south Africa in recent times. Crushed Australia single-handedly in the recent home series. Treat to watch. The guy genuinely deserves Brock Lesnar’s entrance music when he comes in to bat. Ring the Alarm sirens when Klaasen is in the house!!
Test cricket is losing its worth day by day. Another big name takes an early retirement from this format.Proteas wicketkeeper batter Heinrich Klaasen has today announced his retirement from Test cricket.
The 32-year-old steps away from the red-ball format after featuring in four matches for South Africa between 2019 and 2023.
He made his Test debut in India and went on to represent the country in Australia and twice played against the West Indies last summer.
He also played 85 first-class matches where he amassed 5347 runs at an average of 46.09, including 12 hundreds and a career-best of 292 for the Momentum Multiply Titans in the CSA 4-Day Series.
Speaking on his decision, Klaasen said: “After a few sleepless nights wondering if I am making the right decision, I have decided to retire from red-ball cricket. It’s a difficult decision that I have made because it is by far my favourite format of the game.
"The battles that I faced on and off the field have made me the cricketer I am today. It has been a great journey and I am glad I could have represented my country.
"My baggy Test cap is the most precious cap I have ever been handed.
"Thanks to everyone that has played a part in my red-ball career and shaped me into the cricketer I am today. But for now a new challenge awaits and I am looking forward to it.”
Cricket South Africa’s Director of Cricket Enoch Nkwe added: “It is tough to see a player of Heinrich's calibre step away from red-ball cricket, but we respect his decision.
“We look forward to seeing him excel in the white-ball arena and continue to make valuable contributions to South African cricket in the years ahead."
Is that all he needs to learn from him?Rizwan needs to learn from this guy how to score runs even on a tough wicket.
