Lebanon's Hezbollah confirms leader Nasrallah killed

Lebanon's Hezbollah confirmed on Saturday that its leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was killed.

The group said in a statement it would continue its battle against Israel "in support of Gaza and Palestine, and in defence of Lebanon and its steadfast and honourable people".

Israel said earlier on Saturday it had killed Nasrallah in an airstrike in Beirut's southern suburbs a day earlier.

Hezbollah's Al-Manar TV started airing Koran verses after the announcement of Nasrallah's death.

Hezbollah must surrender alongwith hamas

They have been sold down the river by the iranians

Since nasrullah has now been killed hezbollah directly needs to contact usa and un and disarm and hand over all weapons for peace and dismantle the group that way israel will have no choice but to stop attacking once there are no attacks on northern israel the un and usa will stop israel from any expansionist invasion.

As for gaza hamas will have to disarm and surrender and handover the leaders to israel

There's no point getting your whole people massacred for a handful of wanted individuals.

Hezbollah pledges to fight on after confirming Nasrallah's death

Some more now from Hezbollah, who just released a lengthy Telegram post confirming its leader - Hassan Nasrallah - has "passed away".

"His Eminence, the Master of Resistance, the righteous servant, has passed away to be with his Lord," the statement says.

The group seemed to confirm that he had died in air strikes on Beirut, saying his death had come "following the treacherous Zionist raid on the southern suburb".

The group also went on to "pledge" its fight against Israel and continued support of "Gaza and Palestine, and defending Lebanon and its steadfast and honourable people".

You need to be more specific. Do you justify Israeli extremists who have killed over 40k innocent civilians which majority are women and children?
For him a good Muslim is a dead Muslim. Killing of Muslims is justifiable act to him.

Stop wasting your time with someone who love to hate just because they are Muslim.

France says working to prevent ‘destabilisation’ following Nasrallah’s killing

France’s Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs said in a statement that it is in contact with the Lebanese authorities and France’s partners in the region to prevent any destabilisation and conflagration “following the confirmation of the assassination of Hezbollah’s leader Hassan Nasrallah”.

The ministry also stressed that the security and protection of civilians must be guaranteed.

Israel carried out a large strike on Beirut’s southern suburbs Friday evening, which it says targeted the Hezbollah secretary-general, flattening at least six residential buildings in the process.

Israel’s attacks on Lebanon have killed at least 700 people since Monday.

Hamas mourns Hezbollah leader’s killing

“We extend our sincere condolences, sympathy and solidarity to the brotherly Lebanese people and brothers in Hezbollah and the Islamic resistance in Lebanon,” Hamas said in a statement, coming moments after Hezbollah confirmed the assassination of its leader Hassan Nasrallah in an Israeli strike on Beirut yesterday.

“We condemn in the strongest terms this barbaric Zionist aggression and the targeting of residential buildings … in the southern suburb of Beirut, and we consider this a cowardly act of terrorism, a massacre and a heinous crime, which proves once again the bloodiness and brutality of this occupation,” the group added.

Hamas hailed Nasrallah’s support of the Palestinian cause and also condemned the US for supporting Israel.

“History has proven that the resistance against the Zionist enemy, in all its factions and places of presence, whenever its leaders go as martyrs, has a generation of leaders to lead them on the same path,” the group also said.

Iraq declares three days of mourning after Nasrallah killing

Prime Minister Shia al-Sudani has declared a three-day mourning period across Iraq following confirmation of Hassan Nasrallah’s killing in yesterday’s Israeli air attack on Beirut.

“To God we belong and to Him we shall return,” a statement said.

It came shortly after influential Iraqi Shia Muslim leader Muqtada al-Sadr also announced three days of mourning.

The Iranians are waiting for the American elections to end so they can show their hand. Netanyahu is doing all he can to goad Iran into a war where both Harris and Trump both show more love than the other for Israel. If Iran has nothing up its sleave or doesnt show it after the American election then it's an embarrassment.

‘World a safer place’ after killing of Nasrallah: Israeli military

Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari has called Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah one of Israel’s “greatest enemies” and claimed his killing made the world “safer”.

In a televised briefing, Hagari said the group’s remaining senior members would still be targeted.

He added that the “Hezbollah headquarters” in Beirut where the group’s leader was killed was a legitimate military target under international law.

Israel carried out a large strike on Beirut’s densely populated southern suburbs on Friday evening, flattening at least six residential buildings in the process.

Under international law, the harm caused to civilians must not exceed but be proportional to the military advantage anticipated.

Iran says Nasrallah’s path to continue

Iran’s foreign ministry says the path of Hezbollah’s chief Hassan Nasrallah will continue despite his killing in an Israeli air strike on Beirut yesterday.

“The glorious path of the leader of the resistance, Hassan Nasrallah, will continue and his sacred goal will be realised in the liberation of Quds [Jerusalem], God willing,” said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani on X mourning his death.

Lebanese army tanks deployed in Beirut in anticipation for possible protests

We are receiving reports that Lebanese armoured vehicles have been deployed in Beirut near the Burj Al Ghazal bridge in anticipation for possible clashes, in the wake of Hezbollah’s announcement that its leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed in an Israeli airstrike.

The bridge divides the Shia neighborhood of Khandaa Al-Ghami and the Christian neighborhood of Achrafieh. Protests have previously broken out between residents on the two sides.

the brave people are scared as kittens and hiding behind Women and Children in Lebanon.. and firing rockets on Israeli kids.

You need to study the Jewish prophecies sanghi

The Jewish people who propagate the idea of zion when their messiah returns includes ruling the whole world and killing all non Jewish people

That's what they believe

Jews accept the closest ones to them are the arabs and Muslims in beliefs , go an look how lenient the Muslims were to Jews in Spain and gave refuge to Jews in north africa with the Spanish inquisition who were burning people alive on crosses.

Whilst in islam we belive the Christians are our closest.

But one thing jews detest more are idol worshippers they hate polytheistis more than muslims go and read it up.

The only tolerate you indians due to the nuclear threat from pakistan but even that is probably overestimated since pakistan is a bankrupt country and I doubt the colonial establishment that is in charge of pakistan would ever press any nuclear button.

The only protests should be against Hezbollah which made their country a total clown show.
Lebanon was unnecessarily dragged into this by Hezbis.

Hezbollah has been double crossed by iran

They pleaded for help and were declined this was a green signal by the iranians to Israel you can take them out .

There is no other logical solution one of the iranians prized foreign fighting militia has beeb totally handicapped and neutralised and iranians are calling the rest of the Muslims to confront israel .

Ismail haniyeh was safe in qatar yet moment he went to iran was killed.

Look man the Israelis look down upon Indians no matter how much you suck up to them. You common hate for muslims won't bring you together. Hell I bet and Israeli would rather sit down and have a tea with a Palestinian than hang out with Indians. You guys just make a fool of yourself on social media.
There are no permanent friends or enemies in world politics. It’s all friendship of convenience.
If friendship was based on ideologies and thoughts, then China would be one of the biggest enemies of Pakistan. But as Pakistan believes that China-Pak friendship is deeper than ocean and taller than mountains.

Israel -India is the same. Not based on religion. Both are democracies and facing Islamic threat.

Middle East will be lot more peaceful if Hamas, Hezbollab and Iran are neutralized. All Arab nations would secretly support and praying for that.

Another kick in the teeth for Ummah, surely with their jazba and strategy some resources also req. Shame the Muslim leaders only cared for themselves like one Prince buying a Million dollars Penthouse only to see his wife in bikini

Long live Israel.
Long live the Jewish homeland.

What is happening right now is one of the greatest display of resistance, courage from a community facing existential threat being surrounded by hostile enemies in all directions and yet the way they have continued to defend themselves is something that must be written in golden letters in the history books.

A nation is not made great by the size of its population, GDP, army , riches etc. it’s made great by the courage and discipline shown by its people and when the call came the Israelis united as one and punched the enemy back in full strength knocking their teeth off.

Salute and hats off.
This is history.

The nation is engaging in indiscriminate killing, ethnic cleansing, and acts of genocide.

I’m grateful our ancestors persisted in resisting British occupation until Britain’s power waned; otherwise, we might still be speaking with a British accent.

Iranian president says Nasrallah killing to ‘strengthen resistance’

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has issued a statement on the killing of Nasrallah, saying it “will only further strengthen the resistance”.

He added that the international community will not forget that the order for this “terrorist attack” was issued from New York, likely referring to Israeli Prime Minister’s Benjamin Netanyahu’s address at the UN General Assembly on Friday.

Pezeshkian also said the US cannot deny complicity in Nasrallah’s killing.

Turkish president calls for UN action to stop Israeli attacks in Lebanon

Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said Lebanon is the new target of Israel’s policy of “genocide, occupation, and invasion” and urged the UN Security Council and other bodies to stop the attacks.

The Israeli government is “becoming more reckless” as it is backed by world powers that provide it with weapons and ammunition to commit “massacres”, the Turkish president said in a post on X.

“It’s challenging all humanity, human values and international law,” he added.

Erdogan also said Turkey stood with the Lebanese people and government, offering his condolences for those killed in the Israeli strikes, while saying the Muslim world should show a more “determined” stance.

We also have reaction from the Yemeni group that has also been carrying out attacks in support of the Palestinians in Gaza following the start of Israel’s war on the besieged territory.

In the end the Hezbollah leaders all mostly died as scared dogs.

Gonna be just pure fun now seeing Khomeni embarrass himself in the coming weeks issuing empty statements from some bunker the Israelis are gonna blow up soon. They know where you all insects are hiding, Khomeni.

Not sure why the Hezbollah chief didn't take refuge in Iran ? Nasrallah stayed in Beirut even though Israel was already bombing Lebanon .. t'was a strange decision.

It’s only fitting that this thread has turned into a gathering of Hindutva. I can already see the bloodlust in their eyes and what type of a celebration we would be seeing if they started mass extermination of Muslims in their own country.

The mullah regime is even unpopular in Iran. Their own people are supporting Israel and hoping that ISF takes out Khomeni and his cronies.
What Hindutva brigade thinks is immaterial.

Fazlur Rehman condemns Israel's cowardly assassination of Hezbollah's Nasrallah

Jamiat Ulema Islam (F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Saturday condemned the recent Israeli attack that led to the martyrdom of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, describing the act as a cowardly move and an act of terrorism.

In a statement released to the media, Fazlur Rehman expressed his outrage over the killing of Nasrallah, asserting that the leader's life was marked by unwavering resistance against Israeli aggression.

“Hassan Nasrallah's whole life has been a testament to the struggle against Israel. We strongly condemn his killing in the Israeli attack,” he stated.

The JUI-F chief that the martyrdom of Nasrallah would serve to strengthen the resolve of those opposing Israeli policies, declaring, “His martyrdom has increased the stigmatisation of Zionism.”

He urged the international community to recognize the implications of such actions on the ongoing conflict in the region.

The Israeli airstrikes targeted the southern area of Beirut on Friday, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to several others.

While the Israeli military claimed responsibility for the attack, Hezbollah has confirmed the martyrdom of their leader, escalating tensions in an already volatile region.

The struggle for independence didn’t end with the execution of Bhagat Singh. The fight against apartheid didn’t cease when Mandela was imprisoned. Nor did the quest for freedom end with the death of Arafat.

As long as apartheid, occupation, and colonialism persist, the fight for liberty remains ongoing. These struggles only conclude when these oppressive systems are fully dismantled.

I’m particularly grateful that today’s Hindutva supporters were in the minority during India’s fight for freedom and independence, as some of them would likely have branded Bhagat Singh a terrorist, just as their colonial masters did.

Another senior Hezbollah member killed - IDF

The Israel Defence Forces says it has eliminated a senior member of Hezbollah's "intelligence array".

It has released the following statement:

"The IDF eliminated a senior terrorist from Hezbollah's intelligence array who was responsible for the identification of civilian and military targets.

"Earlier this afternoon, with the direction of the IDF intelligence directorate, the IAF eliminated Hassan Khalil Yassin, a senior terrorist in Hezbollah's intelligence array, in a strike in the Dahieh area of Beirut.

"Yassin stood at the head of a department responsible for the identification of civilian and military targets, on the northern border and deep within Israeli territory.

"As part of his role, Yassin collaborated intensely with all of Hezbollah's offensive units, was personally involved in the planning of terror attacks that were executed during the war against Israeli civilians and soldiers, and planned additional attacks to be carried out in the coming days."

I beg your pardon, it's Pakistanis like you who ditched your Jinnah's hard earned Pakistan and instead chose to move to the U.K. and plead allegiance to the Queen and her throne, the same Throne that enslaved and treated your ancestors like slaves. We Indians are living in India.

Why do Hindutva supporters so often respond with irrelevant, nonsensical, and completely out-of-context comments that add nothing to the actual discussion at hand?

There are indeed more Indians living outside of India than Pakistanis.

And if you claim not to align with Hindutva, why are you so eager to defend it?

Next time take breather and think before you decide to waste anyone’s time with your irrelevant reply.

I beg your pardon, I can claim it anytime because I live in India. Unlike you, I haven't ditched my country to go to the UK the same Throne that treated your ancestors as subhumans. It's you who tried to make a smart comment about India's colonial masters, when it's you who choose to live in the U.K despite your beloved Jinnah fighting tooth and nail and securing a land known as Pakistan for the Muslims of the subcontinent

Not surprised with this post. There were condemnations from the Muslim world when Osama Bin Laden was killed like a dog as well.

Speak to people who do. I certainly don't. I relish when terrorists are sent to 72 hoors.

Go easy on him today.
He’s hurt. It’s a sad day for Islamists and we can give them a day off to mourn. Hence I am also personally refraining from going to debate with them today. Let’s not beat someone who’s down.

Israel air strike that killed Hezb commander Nasrallah. That looks like an asteroid impact. No bunker can survive it.

I'm sure the whole of Palestine and Hamas would be so proud of what they did on 7th October last year.
I am sure ordinary Palestinians are vexed of Hamas and their activities. They are all prisoners of Hamas in their own lands. Hamas leadership clearly do not care about Gaza residents. If they cared, they would have waved white flag long ago. But they are still fighting and failing miserably to protect the lives of Gazans.

Wow- the intelligence to obtain for such a precision strike is remarkable
Spies are everywhere it looks like. Israel could have taken him out long time ago. Agreed that the precision is mind blowing. No Pro-Iranian regime guy in that region will feel safe.

No! Compared Hindutva with those who sided with occupation, colonialism, apartheid, ethnic cleaning and slavery.

Hindutvas on this thread are celebrating the demise of the leader of Hezbollah. What does that have to do with colonialsim, apartheid, occupation etc..

It looks like a lot of Pakistanis venerate this guy, even the ultra-liberal ones.

Looking at her Wiki, she parades as a secular. She obviously is not. If she did not care about religion much, she would not have converted her white husband to Islam and changed his original name to an Islamic one. Her open support of Hezbollah and Hamas shows where she stands.
