Very sad news from Moro where a Hindu woman has been tortured to death and the police has badly handled the situation by being harsh with those protesting her death.

The news broke via social media. I haven't posted any links here to the tweets as the videos and photos are quite graphic. Of course it is completely ignored in our mainstream media as we prefer to avoid these kinds of topics.

Questions must be asked of PPP and their rule in Sindh. How can this be allowed to happen in 2018? Has the PPP taken any steps to bring the perpretators to justice?

Only if the victim was a Muslim in India or Kashmir.

Very sad news. As Mamoon pointed out, I am saddened to see so many views yet no one really taking out their time to react to this. Either they themselves have lost hope for Minorities in Pakistan or as mentioned could care less as this wasnt a Muslim being tortured to death.

Sad times really. People championing human rights, gay rights, Black power etc but not really giving a damn for certain minority classes.

Very sad incident what can we expect from waderas of PPP who have been ruling Sindh for last 30 years.

Even worse is that some people are using it for point scoring like phadday karanay wali phopoo

PPP hasn't taken any steps, PPP won't take any steps, and PPP isn't capable of taking any steps to stop this from happening, again.

Hope fully in the next election PPP rule of jahil's will be over.

Quite a few family members in Sindh who still vote for PPP.

On minority issue, Pakistan has not been kind to its minority and hope that it will change soon.

To those, Kim Kardashian and Reham Khan's of PakPassion, Pakpassioners' react muslims and minority in Kashmir or other related Muslims issues when the other try to defend the act of killing of innocents with ridiculous excuse and justification.

You will not see anyone from Pakistan on Pakpassion defending or finding an excuse to justify killing of this innocent minority of Pakistan.

I'd have thought most PP'ers wouldn't miss the chance to bash PPP since this is interior sindh related. It's just a sick disgusting topic, what can you say beyond it's terrible?

Any idea who's comitted it?

PPP still remains the best option for the people of Sindh.
One odd death doesn't prove anything.
Sad to see PTI Bhakts making this a political issue.

You are right, but you and OP are guilty of the same thing, selective posting. Perhaps if you posted in those threads, others would post in these ones.

Do we have more information on this heinous act?
Was the crime religiously motivated or not? Unfortunately cost of a human being is quite low in our beloved country :(

There is evidently plenty of information, but it is up to the media to relay it to the public. If they don't do that, then you have to wonder what is their role in Pakistani society?

Sadly these things are rather common in Pak. There is nothing to suggest she was killed for her religion though.

Typical Pakistanis. If this was a Muslim or Pakistani well here the long list of stupid conspiracies.

That's coz the report does not link her murder to being a Hindu. Minorities are murdered in any country does not always suggest religious reasons.

Is there any way to verify this news? There's a lot of fake news circulating the internet, quoting a tweet doesn't qualify as a source.

Why bring Kashmir into this?

Any murder is a condemnable act. You have no clue whether it was a religiously motivated murder or just a regular crime. As bad as it may sound, the two would attract different reactions from people. A regular murder would be seen as a normal thing (i know i know its bad) but a communal crime would get a stronger reaction. So far there is no reason to think this was communal in nature.
