Can someone explain?
While for an individual I get that better performances lead to national team selection and better economic prospects, I want to know what is the incentive for a team to win in domestics currently.
Is there a monetary reward for the players for a match they win or for their position on the table at the end of the year?
Do the coaches and management have the interest to ensure that the best players are selected to go for the win rather than picking their favorites?
Are established TTFs being dropped for bad performance?
Finally, when the new FC structure was inaugurated my understanding was that players will be promoted and dropped between Second XI and first eleven depending on performance. Why has that not been happening?
