How did you rate the Pakistan Women's team?

They have gone against social norms and "log kya kahien gaye" to be here. While girls their age were braiding hair or playing with dolls, these girls were picking a bat or ball and trying to compete with the boys in their gully. These girls have zero support from the country, heck majority of Pakistanis won't even know a women's world cup is going on. Pakistan's kit sponsor didn't even provide them with a kit, Bonanza had to step in and make kits for them.

Imo in 2 years it will be the opposite,there is a lot of money being invested right now in Pak,it will affect all aspects except hockey.

I hope so, however, I'm not very optimistic about it because the signs are very negative. There is from little to no budget for most sports in Pakistan apart from cricket and you should take my word for this because I have contacts with people in the sports board and top sports journalists. Corruption reeks the entire system. There is no sport at school level, there are no adequate training facilities or coaches for ANY sport, be it cricket, hockey or tennis. At one time, Pakistan dominated some of the major sports of the world but now we're headed towards the epitome of failure.

India at the same time have done the exact opposite, tennis, football, badminton, squash, cricket, hockey, olypmic sports and even pehlwaani and kabaddi of all sports are being given so much importance. Pakistan needs to learn from it's neighbors.
