How do you compare present Indian team's dominance with great Australian side?

OP's glee is understandable but Brook knew that this would happen.

Anyway, he prefers playing for England and the IPL needs more loyalty now and some semblance of performance, neither of which Brook can currently provide.

Win win for both parties
Exactly but pakistan fans and delusion Indian fans are hurting because IPL ban him for 2 year.

Brook chose whatever best for him and IPL is following the rules which is best for their brand.

Australian ace fast bowler Mitchell Starc said Indian cricket team has so much depth that they can possibly have three different squads for different formats that can play the same day.
“I think they are probably the only nation that can have a Test team, a one-day team, and a T20 team play on the same day against Australia in the Test, England in the one-dayer, and South Africa in the T20I; and India will be competitive, no other country can do that," Starc said during a chat on YouTube show 'Fanatics TV'.

Seems like the IPL start date is clouding Starc's judgement. I would like to see India put out 3 different teams, Shield sides would probably beat them.
I would say that's an absolutely fair statement. Just the talent base Ind has. And its the number 1 sport in a country with 1.5 billion pop. Also Starc said Ind would be "competitive " not " win" all games. The competition for places is so intense that Ind players cant get complacent.

So to come back to the thread....

While India is probably the best team out there and has been for quite a while, at least in the limited overs formats, I still don't think they are as good as the Aussies of the 2000s or the Windies of the 1970s/1980s. India still has some way to go before they can claim that.
But India seem to be doing the right things and if they continue like this, they can become one of the most dominant sides in the future. I think it will happen, as long as the players and the administrators don't get arrogant and allow complacency to get into their heads. Us South Asians tend to be very good at letting this happen.

Height is a direct result of -
Nutrition ( mainly milk ) and disease free childhood .

Indians officially have grown 3 cm in last 100 years .

If you break down the huge middle and upper middle class , the avg height growth is more like 4-5 inches .

I am five feet 11 , father was 5 feet 6 , grandpa was 5 feet 4 . My younger brother is 12 years younger and he is 6 feet 1 ( in first 12 years of my life , we were quite poor and my only source of protein was a cup of milk ) . My father’s income increased when my brother was born and I had milk available in plenty when I was about 11 onwards. I grew quite a bit tall else my growth was very stunted till age 11 .

Point I am making is that as u have a wealthy middle class , with cricket as main sport , Ishant sharma and similar tall fast bowlers will be more prevalent .

The best correlation for height and nutrition is in the danish history. In 1850 their avg height was 5 feet 3 . Large cattle industry industry was introduced and today avg Danes are 6 feet 1 .

Brooks being banned is the right call. No one disagrees. But the whole banned for life was extremely arrogant and condescending from your end since you don't see anything wrong with siraj trying to Kill aussie players lol 🤣🤣.

An aussie player pulls out due to side screen and this man throws a ball at the batsmen in anger 😭😭. Yet you threw a ruckus bigger then siraj himself.

Come to the school my kid goes to in brisbane

All desi kids are tall
Especially Punjabi, Tamils, telugu, kannadiga, haryana and Delhi etc are all freaking tall. And I am not just talking tall in general. Taller than Aussies on average is what I am saying. Girls are tall now. Korean kids are tall too. North Chinese are getting tall. South Chinese are short though. In India some states are shorter on average like rajasthani, some gujus and UP bengal etc

Only the bengalis some gujaratis
