I have heard that they Prefer German, then EU citizens, after that citizens of some specific countries, and then the ones from remaining countries.
Another factor to be considered is level of proficiency in German language, which is really necessary. Have heard people say that it matters a lot
So as a curious student from Pakistan/sub-continent i would like to know how difficult it would be once I am done with my masters in Germany in Engineering (probably Chemical /Energy and Process Engineering)?

I’m thinking of doing MBA outside Pakistan after completing BBA here.

Germany is one of the options so far but I’ll have to learn German for that.

Have completed German language course till A2 so far

A2 is quite basic but if you go in IT or a specific sector with not that much German required then language isn't that much of a problem. Chemical /Energy and Process Engineering is quite specific and I don't think your language skills would be that important.

My advice would be to just search the current positions available here in your field and see what the requirements are.

A2 is quite basic

Still have a year left of Undergraduate studies, so will probably be done with B2 by the time I go there.

Have done some research about the Job market for chemical engineering in Germany and the prospects look with 500-550 Euros being the average pay.
But my main question is that how much of a hurdle it is going to be for a non European /Pakistani citizen to find a job there?

I think you meant 5000-5500. Non European/Pakistani doesn't matter much here if you are qualified for the job. Just search for the current posts now and see the requirements so you get an idea regarding qualification, experience, language skills etc. Your nationality/ethnicity shouldn't be a problem.

And yes, I meant 5000-5500

I have searched some jobs, and experience seems to be a major problem. The fact that I would be stepping into the field as a fresh masters graduate probably makes it tough.

That's not a problem tbh. If you are qualified and have enough experience in the field they are looking for, they will recruit you.

I guess your issue is with the experience but when you do masters there and interact with the people, you will get the contacts of companies and HR's. Language is a big plus point so try your best to acquire B1 or B2. After masters you may/may not be recruited directly, will have to stay there under jobseeker visa and will have to attend many interviews.Be ready to face a lot of rejections. It will be hard, will take a lot of time but you will succeed eventually.

Source: this is the story of my husbands friends who did their masters there. Getting a job was very difficult but they were adamant about it and finally got it.

IIRC you will need a C1 for most positions. I would take a few intensive courses to get there tbh.

Didn't know about that but there is quite a shortage of specialists here so I doubt it matters. Have a few friends in HR law, will ask them and let you know for sure.

P.S- Just read the whole thing, If you have an Aufenhaltstitlel with permission to work, it won't be a problem, unless the job requirements specifically require German.

Reaching C1 level is very hard, also in IT, Engineering, etc jobs especially at a corporate level, language isn't that important anyway as most people speak English and you will be mostly using Maths/equations and won't need the local language anyway, unless it is on an executive level which isn't something OP is looking for.
