I never said immigration was bad. I myself immigrated. I am pro-immigration but I support legitimate immigration (lawful immigrants and genuine refugees).

Legal immigration is always okay. H1Bs were okay too if their visa had a chance of being double intention. There is no practical legal pathway for immigration for H1B. Greencard is a pipe dream.

Rather strange that Pakistanis and Bangladeshis are celebrating Trump's restrictions simply because a large number of Indians are going to be affected. They are conveniently forgetting that they have plenty of their own people with H1B visas in the US, who are going to be facing the exact same issues.

Perhaps it is not so strange, but anyway.

Having said this, I am always in support of immigration curbs, even if I have been an immigrant myself. It has simply gotten out of control everywhere. About time Indians and others come out of this caravanning immigration mentality and try to make their futures in India or in their home countries. Fewer Bangladeshis and Pakistanis migrating would be welcome as well.

Why do Indians always make themselves sound like victim? Always shooting the messengers rather than looking at the message. A very common theme with indians across the internet.

Even on sub forums, when anti india hate is mentioned, they crib about it and ask white folks to hate other minorities and not them. Like its always a struggle to paint the target on others.

Focus on the fact that most indians on H1B are exploiting/abusing the system. The gravy train needs to be stopped. Livelihood of local north americans is getting by wage suppressing temporary foreign workers.

You are getting immigrants mixed up with 2nd generation there. I was talking 2nd generation who will naturally grow up with the same sensibilities of their peers from school age through uni and onto their chosen professions. A born Brit is not going to have the same characteristics or values as an immigrant.

I was on H1b once , there are issues with it but lol the complaints are at best minimal compared to average complaints in the world.

H1b is usually used by South Indians and lol they are far from Bhakts, Gujaratis hardly go for H1b. H1b being used by Bhakts or upper caste is extremely ill informed.

Most H1B's are from Telugu states who don't care about BJP or Pakistan. They are all about making money and getting rich faster.

Most are Telugu students. Some Tamil and malayalees. They are also bulk of h1b applicants.

Gujratis come as family based immigrants and also illegally.

Punjabis are mostly gas station owners or cabbies in NY. Low skilled.

Sharia supporters are overrepresented in the media same way as Khalistanis are overrepresented in Canada. The ones who make the most noise always get the most attention, but that is not how the vast majority live their lives.

That said, the areas like Luton or Bradford do tend to end up looking like mini-Pakistans, but I think that is probably because there has been a constant influx of immigrants in those areas which along with white flight, leads to a change in the demographic. But then you get that in heavily Indian areas as well like Southall or Leicester.

All I said was that it was rather strange that Pakistanis and Bangladeshis were celebrating Trump's new immigration rules, when they themselves would be at the receiving end of it as well. Don't see any victim hood there. Again, I also mentioned in my previous post that I'm happy with any and all kinds of immigration restrictions, visa abuse or not.

And I never asked any white folks to hate other minorities. If you can direct me to any post I have made where I have done that, it would give you more credibility. On this forum and others, I merely call out Pakistanis and Bangladeshis who seem to be making a merry living bashing India on cyberspace while their own countries have much bigger issues.

I do agree children should be given the citizenship, my point is on parents here trying to screw the system.

Canadians Use TN visa to come to US and get GC, Tech workers use H1b, Millionaires use Investor visa.
PHD ones have another line as well.

All are legal path to immigration, I went from H1b to GC completely sponsored by an American company.
