Similar to the question we asked about Pakistan's chances.

So a team with players trained in IPL will be expected to take the tournament by storm but T20 is a strange format!

Your predictions?

I think at least the semi-finals.

If they get things right with their team selection they could win it.

We'll reach the final and lose to NZ after beating them in the group stage.

On paper they should win the tournament without losing a game, but India are the new chokers after SA.

They’ll probably lose to England in the SF.

Before that we'll have the customary loss to NZ in the group stages.

And Pakistan's track record of performances when they are in such turmoil can never be written off either. I fear the worst.

Just hope we either win the whole thing or have a shocking group stage exit.

Don't need another one of those "we played excellent cricket throughout the tournament but on this day, *insert random team* outplayed us so credit to them" thing that we usually get from Kaptaan Kohli after a knockout defeat.

Pretty sure he'll walk away from captaincy if the latter happens and we'll finally see Rohit captaining us in 2022.

Indiaaaaaaaaaa Champions :)

Player of the tournament Batsman or spinner let’s see

Lucky they will get Ipl practice before wct20

I hope there will be a captaincy change in t20 after the world cup loss....Kohli will escape like nothing happened similar to captaincing rcb

If they don’t get unlucky like always, they will go all the way.

Runners up. NZ or Aus will defeat them in the final.

They're gonna win it, anything less would be a debacle of epic proportions.

Not much. This unit has a set of predictable players. No one is going to break free and take the game away as the indies guys do. Almost all players take time to settle down. Bowling has to do the job. But in T20 even good bowling can be thrashed apart

On paper, they should reach final.

But, T20 is always an unpredictable format. So, anything can happen.

How are they unlucky always?

2016 WT20 semifinal: Simmons no-ball.

2017 Champions Trophy final: Fakhar no-ball.

2019 World Cup semifinal: If there was no rain and the match wasn’t postponed to the following day, India would have beaten New Zealand.

New Zealand bowlers got the opportunity to utilize the early morning moisture and swung the ball a lot. If there was no rain, they would be bowling in the afternoon and they would get less assistance.

In an ideal world, India would have won at least two of the last three tournaments. All they need was some luck which all the three winners had.

Lol, whatever helps you sleep at night mate. Who was forcing India to bowl No Balls? This is exactly what is called choking. Unable to do the basics right under pressure. In the Nz match. India had the better conditions to bowl overcast throughout but guess what they couldn't win. And more importantly India too had the early morning moisture but Nz didn't lose wickets in cluster at the top

We don't need KL in final XI. We have already two slow starter at the top (Rohit and Kohli), adding one more anchor role player aka KL will be disastrous.

KL has single handedly lost many IPL matches with his stupid selfish approach.
