Rizwan is proving his class for the Patriots in the CPL. A fifty in the middle order when others failed, and now 85 off 62 as an opener while the rest collapsed. Meanwhile Haris is stuck on single digits and scoring at a poor strike rate. Our openers have been hit and miss, their strike rates are on and off, and every second or third game they end up eating too many balls. to find a better option , One must acknowledge that present option is garbage. You are not doing that because apparently he is our only option and we are nt even looking for other options.

If you Say he is garbage batter who does nt know how to hold a bat against quality Spinners , that would suffice. and make no Mistake batting position does nt excuse it. its way of coping that one can be wrong about a player’s ability. Let the selection process and finding better options be confined to PCB. We cant do anything about that.
