How long till we see Hussain Talat in national colours?

I think Hussain Talat has real potential to be a really good no.4 or no.5 batsman for Pakistan and can be a Ben Stokes type of player because he's a decent bowler as well.

I'm against bringing back TTFs like Maqsood who've had their chance. The introduction of young and dynamic players have massively changed the fortunes of Pakistan over the last 6 months or so. I'd like to see that trend continuing with the introduction of Hussain Talat.

A good PSL is a must as our white ball teams are pretty settled right now and I think he is more suited to white ball game. Therefore, he has to really make himself stand out and tell the selectors/management etc he is ready for Internationals because it's not easy to get into our LOI team right now which isn't a bad problem to have. If he finishes in, for example, the top 3 run scorers, he could be in the T20/ODI team at some point in 2018.

I think Maqsood outperformed him in the same tournament and that is why he was called to the fitness camp. A player cannot be selected just because he has fan following. Talat sahab has to perform and earn his chance.

Talat's been performing pretty consistently; keeps chipping in with good contributions though he hasn't played a really big knock recently.

63 off 67 balls for him today for SNGPL in the One Day Cup. Good to see that he's been trusted to bat at #4, ahead of Iftikhar and Rizwan.

Right now at 6, he is ideal for that position, Harris Sohail and Sarfraz at 4 and 5 respectively

Hafeez/Malik/Sarfaraz all look like they will be liabilities against any half-decent attack. So that's a non-existent middle-order.

Until this corrupt crony Inzamam is selector, all the domestic players in Pakistan circuit should file a protest and play in other country leagues leaving Inzamam to select his son, wife and other family members and neighbours in the Pakistan squad. There is no other option left.

Adhoc PCB board has made selection of youngsters impossible in last 10 years if they are not well-connected. Sometimes it feels like a miracle [which it is] how Shadab and Fakhar can ever get into Pakistan team. Hafeez, Malik and Shehzad like parasites are sucking life otu of our cricket.
