I was thinking, the only reason why Mohammad Hasnain is even getting to play in the world cup is because Naseem Shah got injured.

Had Naseem Shah never got injured, Hasnain would had not played as he was never even selected by any other team in psl

A bowler who is capable to play the world cup wasn't even selected by any PSL team 10 months ago.

It makes you think, how many players out there miss out

In a large population, this is bound to happen

list is pretty lengthy but one example comes to my mind umaid asif

.unfortunately he is not younger any more but after 2 year psl experience his pace was improved and bowling in the range of 140 effortlessly which make you think where was he when he was young.this guy could have easily played for pakistan ahead of mediocre bowler we have from 2011 onward

Always wondered what happened to that U19 kid during the WC 2006 I guess which Pak won.

Did he ever play FC?
