Predict how many batsmen will be scored by each player in the Pakistan Cricket Team.

Let us see who he’s it right.

My hunch is Bobby Azam will score 564 runs.

I'll go with averages:

- Babar: 55-60.
- Haris: 40-45
- Akmal: 40-45
- Imam: 38-42
- Fakhar: 35-40
- Sarfaraz: 30-35
- Malik: 30-35

- Fakhar: 35-40

- Malik: 30-35

Those averages are enough for Pakistan to have a dream world cup campaign. A bit too inflated IMO

But quite realistic. This is what these guys have averaged in their careers thus far, they can definitely maintain their averages for another ten matches.

Fakhar - 475 runs.
Imam - 400 runs.
Babar - 550 runs.

Haris - 400 runs.
Hafeez - 325 runs.
Malik - 200 runs.
U Akmal (if selected) - 375 runs.

Imad - 300 runs.
Shadab - 200 runs.
Faheem - 225 runs.

Fakhar remains our only match winner in batting dept. If he doesn't fire in WC then RIP chances.

Favourites like Babar, Imam and Shan can only make 50s for themselves which screw team's chances completely. Not interested in how many selfish runs they score for themselves.

Fakhar - 475 runs.
Imam - 400 runs.
Babar - 550 runs.

Haris - 400 runs.
Hafeez - 325 runs.
Malik - 200 runs.
U Akmal (if selected) - 375 runs.

Imad - 300 runs.
Shadab - 200 runs.
Faheem - 225 runs.
So considering pakistan reaches finals(i. e 11 matches) , these runs amount to approx 315 runs per match and that too without adding tails contribution.
LOL.

LOL.

Shows how some fans just love to pluck numbers out of thin air

Yes, 5 batsmen scoring above 375 sounds overly optimistic.

So according to this thread we are not only winning the worldcup we are going to destroy every bowling attack.

Is everybody in a troll mood or do people actually believe that?

It sounds like we’re gonna score 400+ every match the way some people are quoting numbers.

Why are people making predictions when you don't even know what the squad is gonna be? And you're assuming Pakistan are gonna go all the way with players having runs in excess of 500. Big yikes.

Would've been nice to see how many games will be played + potential knockouts. From the above posts I see that 11 games = playing in the finals. Our line-up in general is a big ? and we've been rotating both fast bowlers & batsmen quite regularly. This makes it difficult to predict runs for guys like Malik, Umar Akmal & Harris as I don't think all three can bat in the same line-up.

Fakhar/Imam/Babar - top is pretty much fixed
Hafeez/Malik/Harris/Umar/Sarfaraz/Faheem - 4 of these would play
Imad/Hassan/Shadab/Amir - Our tail (most likely) with Amir/Shadab being rotated

I'll predict both Babar & Fakhar to top-score for Pakistan with 450 runs each.
Next best batsman is probably M Hafeez with 375 who is in great form and my feeling is that he will (uncharacteristically) bat well!
Imam might get 300.
Sarfaraz, Imad, Hassan Ali and Shadab will all get 200+ runs each - I'm specially looking forward to Hassan Ali & Shadab's batting!

Do you any Pakistani batsman scoring 600+ or maybe 650+?

Sachin and Hayden hit 680+ in 2003/2007 respectively

I expect Imam, Fakhar and Babar to score around 1200 runs combined in the tournament.

Babar has the ability but he really needs to convert some of these starts. He got starts vs SA but only got one fifty.

Babar is a serial bottler. So is Imam. Only Fakhar has the ability to perform on big stage, but he’s been found out. 250 runs each for all three of them.

The biggest failures in this WC from Pakistan will be the most hyped players with the biggest fan base

Babar
Imam
Haris

Babar might crack 300, but the other two will be utter failures

It's very hard to predict but i like this thread once the full squad is name for the World Cup I will send my predictions but great thread by the way

Imam and Babar should both be able to get 400 runs at least. Not that hard given that we play weaker teams as well, and these two will have a few decent scores against the big boys as well.

Haris will score around 450.

Betting on Fakhar is hard here because teams take world cups seriously, they will tactically bowl against Fakhar and exploit his glaring weakness, speaking of which, did he alter it in the PSL? If bowlers get under pressure and go off from the plan then Fakhar will give us those valuable quick starts, he will have a sub 30 average.

The only batsmen who put a price on their wicket in the team is Babar, Imam, and Harris, and they will be the ones to score the most runs.

Going with realistic averages this is what I expect will happen.

Fakhar: 15-20
Imam: 30-40
Babar: 45-50
Haris: 20-25
Akmal: 10-15
Malik: 10-15
Sarfaraz: 20-30
Imad: 20-28
Faheem: 15-20
Shadab: 10-20

I think Babar will be the top scorer with 450ish runs , with most of them coming against Sri Lanka, Bangladesh Windies and Afghanistan. I'm predicting atleast two hundreds for him in these four games.
Fakhar the hack will score a sub 300 with only one real impactful innings throughout the tournament.
And the likes of Imam, Malik, Sarfraz, and Hafeez will be scoring the same as fakhar with everyone of them milking smaller teams and failing against England, India etc.
All in all, we stand no chance of reaching the semis with that batting lineup.

If a batsman from a good team like Pakistan scores above 500 then they will almost certainly qualify for semi.

500 runs will include 2-3 match winning innings and team needs approximately 6 wins to make the cut.

Looking back this thread, its safe to say that most of the expectations from PPers were unrealistic.

I'll go with averages:

- Babar: 55-60.
- Haris: 40-45
- Akmal: 40-45
- Imam: 38-42
- Fakhar: 35-40
- Sarfaraz: 30-35
- Malik: 30-35

So far it is:

Babar - 63
Harris - 48
Imam - 29
Fakhar - 24
Sarfraz - 28
Malik - 2

Babar and Harris are the only ones who have met your expectations.
