"How many times have South Africa come close to winning in India?" : Virat Kohli

Why should he accept a journalist being rude and asking ridiculous questions. Those questions were all either factual questions which he could have looked up in a database or personal attacks and arguments with Kohli.

One aspect of India's change is standing up for ourselves and I am glad Kohli gave it back instead of just meekly admitting fault when he did nothing wrong.

And he's right. We are much better in their conditions than they are in India. And why should it be that we have to adapt to their conditions to be considered good but not other way around? Sub-continent is now home of cricket.

Well said. That reporter deserved what he got.

There is a time and place to play the
"it's finally good Indians are giving it back" card.

Kohli so jello he couldnt handle a rude reporter?

Moreover, he has lost all benefit of doubt after the egomaniac moves he made in recent times. A crucial point many posters miss.

No sympathy for Kohli.

I don't mind his combative attitude. The journalist went on and on. He went overboard with the question - by implying that the team selection had meant the team had lost consistently 'How can you keep changing the team and expect a different result?' Obviously Kohli would pick him up on that by stating that they have had pretty good results while he has been tinkering with the team.

The valid question would have been: Do you think tinkering with the team, and a lack of consistency in selection has meant players are unable to settle into their roles in the side? End of.
