How much is Mickey Arthur responsible for a confused batting approach throughout NZ Series?

I have finished witnessing a completely confused approach from our batsmen from the beginning till the conclusion of the series. After the disastrous 1st innings in the first test, everything seemed reactive to what had happened in the preceding innings.

All in all, one of the worst batting displays from the team in a long long while. The pitch in the second test had become almost dead by the time Pakistan batted in the first innings. The less said about awful batting approach in the final innings the better.

Mickey Arthur has to be blamed for chopping and changing things around too much...

Shafiq from 6 to 3 to 6 again..

Bringing in Sharjeel in the squad when there is no need for him..

He doesn't seem consistent in what he wants...

His fast tracking of Babar Azam at no.3 when Shafiq was playing before.. or his playing of Nawaz as a no.7, and now Rizwan has proven fruitless instead of a proper middle order batsman.. or his inclusion of Sharjeel in the squad which is completely and absolutely bonkers

Azhar and Sami can bat only at one pace.

If Pakistan were thinking about really chasing 370 (which was a stupid option anyway, no matter how many times Pakistan have chased this in Galle or Sharjah , I really don't care), they needed batsmen who can actually hit the new ball.

Azhar and Sami did their job.

Which was score at 1.5 run per over without losing a wicket for 60 overs.

The problem is , when you expected the openers to bat faster than what their natural batting is. That's when they immediately fell.

And rest of the team, which went for an imaginative victory also capitulated.

If Pakistan were chasing a non-existent win, they should have opened with Sarfraz and Babar Azam to up the run rate and then sent Sami and Azhar to stone the opposition in case, early inroads were made.

But just saying, sending your best openers, whose normal game is 30 SR and then expecting them to pick up the pace and lead you to victory, is hiring a Honda , and asking it overtake the Ferrari, despite the fact that Ferrari is 300 miles closer to its destination.

Both Inzamam and Mickey are responsible to persist with some completely failure like Shariq and Younis. Inzamam is a timid selector with his yes men buddies never try to innovative and put new players. Micky persists with Azhar in ODI and damn care about results and inclusion of new players will never improve our team. Like some posters said soon we will be no. 8 in test just like ODI. No hope

Sorry to mention Rizwan, Sharjeel and Anasazi do not belong to test team

Mickey Arthur is also responsible for the defeat against the WI where Nawaz was played needlessly..

We were never this bad under Waqar.. he's made the team from bad to worse..

And his problem is he doesnot understand Pakistan cricket..
