How will Pakistan fans feel if the T20 WC is moved to Feb/March instead of the PSL due to the IPL?

With it looking more and more like the T20 World Cup will be moved, one of the first windows that it is being talked about being moved to is February / March, which is of course, when the PSL would be held.

Wonder how Pakistani fans will feel if the ICC is being "urged" to move to February/March to accommodate the IPL while at the same time, sabotage the PSL?

BCCI might not like T20I WC two weeks before the start of IPL (if everything gets normal) - it'll severely impact the public interest. I think, we'll see the T20I WC rescheduled in 2022, sometimes around October, a year either side of two ICC events in India.

Don’t mind it, we can hold PSL at the same time as IPL, as I have always wanted

The PSL needs a different window i.e. it should be held after the IPL

We won’t get any international players. At least good ones.

I think during IPL we will get the guys who couldn’t get a gig for $300k such as maybe Joe Root or players of his level.

Whatever, I don't personally care about the PSL or any other domestic T20 leagues for that matter.

2014 and 2016 editions (T20 WC) ended a week before the start of IPL. Don't think that's too much of a problem for the BCCI..

Lol it will be funny to see one IPL before T20 World Cup and one IPL after World Cup this time. And neither BCCI nor IPL fans will complain even if World Cup ends just 1 day before IPL. IPL fans are like those kids who never say no to fast food. Eating nutritious food is not in their menu. :inti

Exactly this. Also it helps to divert attention from our national team when it fails to win a tournament. Through IPL we once again get this feeling of fake bravado that we are the best in the world and players like Pandya are better than stokes. Am I right bro? :inti

Is it important to play both the T20 World Cups in next two years? What is the point really?

A world tournament loses its value when played so quickly. It should not happen more than once in four years similar to World Cup.

Not really, I am not sure why they conducting back to back two t20 wc's.
CT would be better option instead of second T20WC

February March?

Can’t be in Australia then. The stadia go back to AFL and NRL at the start of March.

In 2016, the World T20 was played and IPL followed straight away. BCCI won't have any issue with that.

All these tournaments should happen when it's more safe. Dont see World T20 and IPl happening this year.

Most important thing is to get bilateral cricket restarted.

If something like this were to happen, could the PCB press the ICC to compensate them for forgoing the PSL?

Not going to happen, Australia's WT20 will be cancelled.

It's not realistic to host it next year and have 2 WT20s in the span of 6 or so month.

If CA really think they can postpone this, I have a bridge to sell them.

If they cannot host it in September they should give up the hosting rights immediately and host the tournament elsewhere.

Neither Aus or India would want to give up the WT20.

Postponing is effectively cancelling one, the big problem here is boards were counting on the TV and ICC revenue from the tournament. Aus really should give up the rights to a country like NZ if they can't host in September, the sooner would be better and would allow the new host nation to prepare.

Would overall be beneficial for Pak cricket if it ousts some of our older folk like Malik, Hafeez.
