How will Unai Emery do as Aston Villa manager?

It has become a farmer’s league ever since Arteta’s hiring, we wonder why 🙈

Hilarious that a certain 🤡 is mocking Emery for losing to olympiakos at home.

Fact - Arteta has lost not once, but twice to olmpiakos at home in europa league

Same cheerleader after Bayern game. But but Arsenal should be proud only losing 3-2 bayern. Emery's villareal knocked bayern out of the CL a few seasons ago

On top of that Emery's villareal schooled Arteta in europa league, when Arteta was dumb enough to try and place a false number 9. Tactical shitshow from fraudeta.

But but best young manager.. 🤣

The guy whose been an embarrassment In european competition

Same Greek team humilated "best young manager in world" 🤣 at Emirates not once, but twice.

'Unai is doing an incredible job'

ston Villa v Liverpool (20:00 BST)

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has called Villa counterpart Unai Emery "one of the best in the business".

Emery has won the Europa League four times, several trophies in France with PSG - and could be set to lead Villa to the Champions League.

"We have the chance to go above 80 points again and for that we need to win one of the two games at least," said Klopp.

"Aston Villa is the next chance. It's the last home game of the season for Aston Villa - they want to have a good last home game because they have played an incredible season.

"This year Europa Conference League, next year Champions League - Unai is doing an incredible job there and is one of the best we have in the business. Wherever he [has been], he had success.

"We all know how important it is for a club to qualify for the Champions League and how difficult it is to do that."

The 🤡 regurgitates the same old uncreative rubbish and takes issue with Villa because Unai is managing them, which is so creepy, just to put over Arteta. It’s silly to judge them purely on the level of budget they are managing and nothing else. At this point in the season, I think Unai would be the happier of the two for how he has exceeded all expectations (Would Arteta be doing a better job then Unai if he were managing Villa? would anyone? it’s not that straightforward). While Arteta has to rely on other teams to meet the expectation of winning the title, I don’t think true Arsenal fans would want anything less. However! this season Arsenal have shown metal, but other then competing in the EPL, I don’t think they’ve won any trophy either?

@Amjid Javed First CL game we will be addressed as a former European Champion :akhtar Never would have imagined it in my life time. Some of my elder family can finally shut up about Martin O Neil this and Martin O Neil that, now it’s Unai’s time.

From the Championship to the Champions League, do you believe in miracles mah gawwd

Aston Villa showing their small club mentality by hosting a party to celebrate finishing fourth.

I have seen less celebrations for winning the treble. No wonder a lot of the old Villa fans, those who saw them win big trophies in the 80s, are embarrassed by the celebrations.

Unai Emery has been exposed for the small manager that he is. I think like Villa, he has accepted where he sits in the food chain.

He is happy to stay at a club that is popping champagne bottles for finishing fourth. He has to make himself content with these small achievements because he knows he is not good enough to be at a club that can give him the platform to compete for the league title and the UCL.

PSG and Arsenal gave him the platform but he blew it and showed that he didn’t have the chops.

This is how you celebrate finishing 4th and to achieve the ticket for being the whipping boys of the UCL next season. 😂😂😂

Mickey Mouse manager, Mickey Mouse club. Mickey Mouse ambitions.

Feel sorry for the old Villa fans who saw the glory days of this once beautiful football club. They must be rolling in their graves or must be embarrassed to see what their club has been reduced to.

My goodness these celebrations are embarrassing. They have caused me great hand embarrassment. I thought Arsenal dressing room celebrations for finishing fourth all those years were bad, but this is next level stuff. 🤡

Hopefully you will get a Real Madrid, barca or Bayern at Villa Park. Enjoy the ride next season. Now its a case of spending well on good solid players. I see your linked to olise who would be good. Players like Bowen, Paulinha, gheue should be sorted of players Villa should look at. Emery might get in some good players from abroad.

That would be insane, would certainly try and get tickets for those games will be insane. The club are giving him the resources and control I don’t think he had at Arsenal. He has several links from his past stints which should help, work to redevelop the ground will continue but hopefully the seats are not smaller, we’re also putting Adidas logo on the seats not sure how that complies with UEFA regulations though. What do you think of Tierney for wide play?

When you go from PSG to Arsenal to Villa and still try to find happiness in the little things in life.

As they say, happiness is a choice. You can choose to be happy or choose to be upset.

Emery is an inspirational example for failures in life who lose everything, get downgraded but are still happy.

The top managers and players would aspire to go from Aston Villa to PSG/Arsenal, not the other way around.

Bro is in reverse gear. 🤣

Commendable the business is picking up for Villa, excellent achievement finishing in top 4

Emery signs new five-year Aston Villa contract

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has signed a new five-year contract with the club after taking them into next season's Champions League.

The 52-year-old Spaniard has turned Villa around since arriving from Villarreal in October 2022 with the club sitting 17th in the Premier League.

He led them to seventh place in his first season in charge and fourth this campaign.

Unai Emery exposed under pressure as usual. This is why he will never have the mentality to manage big expectations. No wonder he failed at PSG and Arsenal.

We 12th and you still obsessed 🙈 I told people a while back we competing with Arsenal this season for the top 5, we’re only 6 points behind :yk3 You can criticise Unai, but he did what many other Villa managers couldn’t, and Arteta aint winning sh!t this year; time for you to extend your time scales again….

Villa, just like Newcastle finding it hard to balance the two competitions at same time huge investments can't be made as unlikely the established big 6 clubs the amount these 2 clubs generate is not at same level. So the managers have to pretty much get new signings and transfer business etc spot on try and keep at same level..

In regards to the 🤡 having a laugh at Emery, whilst doing bhangra over 5 years of failure at Arsenal, that's just more of his "zero ball knowledge on display"

The fluke win vs Bayern will be milked to death this season, but Aston Villa have to ask themselves where they are heading as a club. One of the most pointless clubs in contemporary English football because they never play for anything. Aston Villa will never have the ambition and the resources to win the Premier League or to establish themselves as a proper top 6 club.

They are just a placeholder club in the Premier League era who can only look back at past glory. This is why no top player and no top manager would waste their time at this club, and the fact that Emery is comfortable here shows that he knows he doesn't belong in big environments and the fact that no top club is looking to prize him away from Villa also shows that those clubs are staying away from him after his failures at PSG and Arsenal.

Ah yes, your level is now getting triggered by my lowly club, what are you playing for again this season besides Arteta’s baubles 🤔

It’s new territory for us and he needs to find a way to adjust, bring some new players in & rotate effectively. I don’t think we should hit the panic button with Unai, it’s silly when you consider what he has achieved for the club, though we’re desperate to get up and running again. It’s amusing that Unai is being criticised by 🤡 when he has something to show at our club within our reach which I have to be realistic about but he hasn’t been around as long as Arteta, while on the other hand defends a guy who has failed for his club almost every season.

🤣🤣 Villa fluked a win vs Bayern.

Same 🤡 last season "but but I'm proud of performance vs Bayern, no shame in losing to them"

Looks like 🧌 mode is switched on.

Unai Clown Emery exposed again. A fraud manager who has reached his ceiling at Villa. It is time for Villa to move on from him if they want to preserve their status as a top 6 club next season.

Emery deserves this humiliation. A pointless manager at a pointless club.

What is Aston Villa playing for is something even Aston Villa fans cannot answer.

Is the DVD out for the Bayern win?
