How will you react if New Zealand get the better of Pakistan again?

My initial feeling would be a case of "same crap, different day".

The team/captaincy/coaching rinse and repeat the same pathetic tactics, time after time.

I mean the times we've all called for Azhar to be dropped.

He hasn't been because of his last couple of performances in the CT. Not realising his form has completely dropped off in Tests too.

I would also pick on Babar's form too, but he's not at the stage where I'd be picking on his performances just yet. He just needs to give himself some time before playing his strokes.

Then the curious case of Hafeez being picked on just his batting, which he only kicked on in was the last match, and may not do it again. Why not play Haris, a player that can also bowl a few over here and there too?

Then you have Sarfraz who has been atrocious since the CT. He looks overweight and his WK, and in particular batting, has taken a hit.

Raees has been poor with the new ball and has come back from an elbow injury. So why not start with Yamin? The amount of times he's been left to carry the drinks and not play a single match is truly shocking.

At least the deadweights would be kicked out.

We made a mistake of "sticking with a winning formula" instead of being ruthless. Azhar and one of Hafeez and Malik should have called it a day after CT.

Look, I still think this has more to do with choosing the wrong XI again and again than it has to do with us being actually bad. If NZ played a top order of Latham, Guptil, Williamson, Accumulator 3, Accumulator 4, Accumulator 5, they will be hitting below par performances batting wise as well. We all saw Williamson for what he is, very unthreatening in LOIs unless you miss chances and even then, Munro's barrage was more devastating over all in the 1st game.

If we do lose again I'll be disappointed in the team but mostly in whichever genius is cooking up these playing XI.

If the bowlers don't rescue these ancient batsmen we will see another sorry scorecard.

It doesn't matter if we win or lose but there should be intent shown by playing positive cricket. You can't win against this Kiwi side with the same snail paced batting like we have seen against SL and WI in UAE. It's impossible to have any hope from this current batting to be honest.

The word 'if' is redundant.

The series is a write off.

As the old cliche goes, Pakistan will be lucky to get nil.

Time for the TTFs to be kicked out and new blood given a go after this.

Pakistan ODI team ain't that great.

Hasan Ali has been amazing off late.

Shadab is a class act.

Babar Azam is a solid bat (more of the modern era accumulator mould).

Amir can switch it on or off but can be lacklustre for most part.

Rest are okayish to poor.

They should work towards building a proper team.

Too many holes.

Forgot Fakhar Zaman. Lethal on his day.

With indifference.

As long as we keep on playing Malik, Hafeez and Azhar I won't care much.

It is more-so to do with the playing XI, I suppose. Barring Fakhar at the top there's no-one that can force the issue and get us 6 runs-per-over.

Also the coaching staff have to take blame for the way the side has been playing.

I am Azhar’s fan but Sarfraz should open with Zaman. Give ultimatum to Shoaib and Hafeez. Amir should start taking wickets or should be shown the doors. Rumman should not open the bowling in these conditions

i will be sad but ok.
but if we lose and malik and hafeez score i will be most upset.

If we bowl them out for a cheap total and then win then I’ll be a little bit disappointed. Because everyone knows how to chase low totals.

I want to see this team improve so I’d rather see New Zealand make a higher total.

Expected, means Pakistan aren't there yet, and that CT was a fluke win, anyone on their day can win 4 matches on the trot, first two where luck was involved.

We have 5 great players, can't consistently win with only half the team contributing.

A few overs into game 1 it was obvious this was a 5-0 series. Pak has no bowling or batting of note. Esp batting in these conditions.

NZ have dimmed all the Pak bowlers, they have played Shadab well and not given him wickets. Same with Hassan Ali. When your 2 main wicket takers don't get wickets and Amir continues to the fast bowling zulfiqar babar, then the attack is completely nuetralized.

Well, that was something.

If that defeat doesn't get heads rolling, I don't know what can.

How about Inzi? He selected this disgraceful squad

It won't, you can bet your top dollar that about a year from now you'll see Shehzad in all his glory nicking one off to the keeper, with Hafeez walking out at one down to nick it to 1st slip.

Shehzad, Hafeez, Azhar, Sarfraz, Malik, these guys are in constant rotation. The ODI team is theirs.

I just followed the highlights...goodness me, how bad did they bat?

:))

The same issues I posted reared it's ugly head. Azhar/Hafeez. Babar has been poor too. Sarfraz looks like a man that has the weight of the whole side on his shoulders [no personal weights jokes :P]

The bowlers, barring Hasan and Shadab have been very average.

If this doesn't get the changes needed, nothing will.

Class act from NZ. Terrific side.
