Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim speaking on TV:

Mohammad Amir quotes

"For the last 5 years or so, Pakistan team have done their fasts and Eid in England"

"It was the best decision by PCB to stop PSL as Covid-19 was spreading and the overseas boys needed to get home also"

"If the final game was cancelled then you can make some decision on winner, but this was the most important stage of the tournament where there is a lot of pressure - here any team could have won so you cannot say that the table-topper team should be given the title"

"There is no doubt that MS were playing good cricket but we had reached the pressure stage and here only that team which could handle pressure would have won the title"

"We will have to accept whatever decision the authorities will make in regards to closed doors version of the WT20"

Imad Wasim quotes:

"We had the momentum (when PSL stopped) but it is what it is and you cannot fight with will of Allah"

"I feel that you have to earn the trophy (talking about who should be given PSL trophy)"

"Agree with Amir about WT20 but fact is that we need to play cricket and get back into our routines - whether people are allowed into the stadiums is based upon safety considerations but its no fun without crowds"

Comparing players/officials:

That CT17 celebration was epic! :))

Sharma has scored a few big scores against us with Amir bowling, but that CT17 dismissal will be the one that will forever be remembered

He didn’t score against Amir during the world cup match actually. He kept rotating the strike to KL Rahul who wasted Amir’s quota.

India played the match quite smartly

Yeah, especially when the ball is nipping back into his pads. But when set, he just murders the bowlers.

He's a flat track bully but it doesn't matter now because 90% of the pitches in LOIs are flat tracks.

If he wasn't such a FTB he'd have much better stats in Tests in SENA.

A score of 340 + has never been chased iin cricket history in a big tournament. even Zimbabwe bowlers could have got sharma out that day

I would say given the potential he has, he should aim higher. I have see n a lot of amazing pak potential player be content with doing better just against india, having couple of great performances against india and then coasting with that for their entire career. Two prime examples are Junaid Khan and jamshed. Both became legends because they did well against India, both hung on for way too long and just coasted on the hype they got

TBF both amir and rohit are good only in favourable conditions. The difference being that rohit is god level on flat tracks but amir isn't on the same level even on green tracks.

Gross degradation of that ball and mode of dismissal.

Total disregard for getting life out of a flat track.

i absolutely hate the Greatest FTB the most overrated player to play the game. That Rohit whatever his name is will always be remembered for saying "come to India" we will see to steyn.he is really awful.

Yeah that Oval track (where even PAK scored 330+) was "favourable conditions" :)))

Matlab kahan se latay ho yaar :14:

You cannot dominate every bowler. Big batsmen realize that and learn to respect, see through some bowlers. Rohit has improved his defense against Amir. It's an huge improvement from being a boooboo against him.

Always respect improvers.

One swallow doth not a summer make.

If Amir wasn't such a GTB he'd have much better stats in asia and australia(tests).

Rohit Sharma's last 3 score against Pakistan - 52, 111, 140.

I dont blame you for hating him.

Rohit Sharma will be forever remembered as a legend only in LOI"s as he couldn't really establish himself as a true legend of the game in tests,

That CT17 final shows Amir class as a bowler at the biggest event against their biggest opponent on a flat track getting sharma and kohli the two match winners of current Indian ODI team was truly eceptional performance.
