"I honestly can’t see Pakistan winning this game" : Shane Bond

Well, logically he is right but when has Pakistan conformed to logics and rules and trends? We were not supposed to reach this far but we have. What's stopping us to give everything tomorrow and then hope for a miracle. Because if we pull this through, it will be nothing short of a miracle.

Truth is that Shane Bond is still in a dilemma and couldn't believe that his team New Zealand is out of the tournament and not enjoying in their bedrooms. Thats the truth and reality :afridi1

Ummm I just did in the above post, India held two teams under 200

Has to be one of the greatest replies ever :))

But i think the poster was actually asking for a range of 200-250 and unfortunately India failed to do so once, leabe alone twice :shakib

not sure why you are laughing.. reducing the team to below 200 is not better than (200 to 250)?

you have been coming up with great gems today.

I don't think Pakistan has the best bowling attack in CT. Performance so far doesn't back that up.

Just for comparison,

SA bowling has avg of 34 and ER of 4.8
Ind bowling has avg of 30 and ER of 5.3
Aus bowling has avg of 29 and ER of 5.4
Pak bowling has avg of 36 and ER of 5.2

Having said that 3 matches don't give you meaningful sample size, but that's what we have in CT so far.

Pakistani bowlers have literally bowled their team to the semifinals while the saffers and the aussies are back home.
Whats the point of these spreadsheet stats straight from Peter Moore's era .
India have a case . No way in tbe world have the aussies and the saffers been better .

Yes ofcourse, but read my post again to understand what I meant :misbah

neither did I.. but Pakistan is hard to stop once it gets going. Bringing in Junaid was the game changer!.. Him and Hassan together have done a lot of good for the team. Luck is always swinging our way when we win tosses and chase. All in all, an unforeseen but pleasant result.

Well lets not massacre the guy now. Everyone in the world including lots of Pakistani fans said the same thing.

Where is Shane bond now

He said we can't beat England I just want see his face no one give us chance and there we come in a final

 A thread for this? Bond didn't say this out of spite, no one saw pak winning this match, stop getting butt hurt over bond's comments, he made the comments based on the relative strengths of the two teams and he got it wrong, not a big deal

Yeah don't see why he should get hate.

He said the same thing that 90% of Pak Passion said yesterday (and I disagreed).

He has not said with ill-will to Pakistan, just a prediction.

With your tone and usage of the words, it seems it is you who are feeling the pain (you know where) :-)

Called it before the game, but I guess no one noticed. Knew it all along that it is England who will be getting the thrashing not Pakistan.

Well done, now hand over the winning lottery numbers!

Good thing at least he recognizes Tendulkar. You know whose butt hurts when somebody does not.

You wish it had come true though... :) well tough luck.

Pakistan beating SA wasn't some great feat as they were helped a lot by the rain. Seeing yesterday's match who knows what would have happened if it was a full game? Even against India they were 100-2 and then collapsed to 150-160 odd.

Lol nothing would have happened, look at the result against srilanka and now against England. Get over it, yes we had some new faces but the new faces had talent and they have proved it.
