I am a specialist wicket keeper. I keep wicket in my club. But i don't enjoy keeping. I want to be a swing fast bowler(Right Handed). I am 5 foot 10 inch. But i am too slim. My weight is around 47 kg. I want to follow a fast bowlers action. Please suggest me a fast bowler's name to follow his action and everything.

if you want a front-on action, follow STEYN

if you want a side-on action, follow :akhtar

dude i don't what type of body u have

just post a video, so i can thoroughly examine the body and form a hypothesis regarding which action will suit you best. :asif

and describing the body as just "slim" just doesn't do justice to the work of stunning art that our almighty creator created called the human body.

@:akhtar's action......one simply can't just copy and sustain a legendary action, unless its the legend himself

to me copying Shoaib's action is pretty easy than others, but after bowling 4 to 5 deliveries, the body especially the back/legs just say "kill me now, enough of this torture"

5'10 and 47kg??????????? maybe fly weight boxing is for you, being a fast bowler it is damaging to the no mater how good your action (around 9x your body weight will go through your legs when you bowl fast), the key of fast bowling is a very strong core and lower body. The last thing you want to do is cause harm to yourself. I would recomend putting on weight (muscle not fat, fat is useless) and then start training to bowl fast.
The bowling action breaks up into run-up, delivery stride and your release/arm movements.

Let alone fast bowling gain some weight you are seriously underweight.

Thanks all for the help. I will continue keeping and try to gain weight. Any suggestion on how to gain weight, please?

First rule is to eat more and eat healthy. I can estimate how many calories you need if you let me know your age as well.

at 15 you can afford to eat quite a bit, but the mostimportant thing is gaining muscle weight/mass not fat, fat is useless. I would suggest doing a lot of psh ups, sit ups, squats, calf raises and bicep curls to get lean. But the most effective way would be to go to a gym. If you are doing a lot of exercise it doesn't really matter what/how much you eat a long as it is balance with Carbs Vegetables, fruit and meat. Dairy is also good tilla certain extent as it has hormones.
But i'm not sure i f you want to start bowling fast at the age of 15, this is the age where in club cricket the difference between the good and not so good is HUGE.... If you are a good Wicket Keeper i would stick to it and focus on batting.-Not trying to be nagative just trying to offer you the best advice.

Can you please explain the line?:hafeez

the difference between the best players and average players is obvious as the skill level of the best players excel rapidly (with all the training, coaching and experience) and the average players fall behind and find it harder to compete and less enjoyable because of the domination.
